Im pretty interested in knowing what the people that attended the E3 showfloor and got to actually see the whole demo have to say on the matter. Anyone seen any testimonies like that around the web?

I'm guessing other people have mentioned but at the end of the demo it seemed the Inquisitor was stuck between going to help Leliana after she got shot, and doing the 'spell' that Dorian wanted her to do? Do I smell a moral choice?
It may be, but I could have sworn Dorian said something about "we'll all die", suggesting that the spell was the only thing that'd get their necks out of that situation.

Yeah. I suspect it's a Bastila style plot mandated capture going on.

The game is looking great and was nice to see some glimpses of the story too but after watching this new gameplay demo few times now, i can't help it but i am little bit concerned or should i say interested to see what does the UI look like in PC because this console version does not really appeal to me.
Couldn't agree more with you. Some people probably like it, but this UI on PC.... it just doesn't seem easily readable and usable for PC. In the demo, which I suppose was played on a console, there were about 3 or 4 spells/talents available for character at a time in the bottom righthand corner. I feel like they want players to use as few abilities as possible and end fights quickly and have more action than strategy. It feels like a very strong preference for catering console players, to be honest. In Origins, which was very, a bit too much, PC-friendly, you could have about 20 spells on your screen and you would actually use a lot of them, it created so much strategy in terms of spell and talent combination. Here it seems that "strategy" is not so much how your spells will combine together, but will rely solely on combining abilities between companions. Not that I don't care for companions, but in DA2 and Origins I rarely ever cared how my companions synergized with my protagonist. My mages were powerful enough to take on a variety of characters in their party regardless of synergy. In Inquisition it seems we might be forced to take some companions for the sake of synergy. I don't know how I would feel about that, but I hope I'm wrong.

crap, i was playing poker and i missed it, was it recorded?
EDIT: also, if someone must die in that instance Cole and Blackwall are totally getting drafted
No, that sounds like a good job for our resident Orlesian court Mage.

No. There is a separate mouse and keyboard UI with a bar at the bottom. They've already confirmed this.

Maybe it would close up the fade rips and the demons would all disappear?

Relax, PC always has a different UI. Just like in DAO and DA2 we will get an 'mmo' style bar on the bottom where we can put as many skills as we want.

But...planning your party ahead of time based on how their abilities complement each other is totally strategizing, as is having a good gameplan going into the fight?
Like don't worry, you'll get your MMO UI, but those are very strategy-type things to have to do?

I agree it would be pretty bad, but I am fairly certain that was a console UI only and the PC UI will reflect what we are all used to. Hopefully we will see a shot from the PC UI soon.

Damn near speechless. This game topped my most-anticipated list and that demo stuff doubled the hype. So effing glad I became a Dragon Age fan at the start of the year. So effing stoked to keep going with the series in just four months.
Iron Bull OMG. Looks so rad.

You don't get "knocked out" in dragon age unless you're zevran.
Edited the OP with proper links. Next up would be Gamespot coverage. Though most likely it is the same gameplay video but with different commentary.

Hey People!
I have been watching the trailer and I noticed a few things I thought I would bring up for your opinions. In the Dragon Age Inquisition Gameplay E3 trailer, at 1:00, you see a women, that really really looks like Morigan(although she is not facing the camera, you see her from behind and her clothes look really like the ones from Origins) and then beside her, you see a man with a lion mask and the inqusitor beside him. My question/thing to think about, could this be Morigan and your warden/King/hero from Dragon Age: Origins if you romanced Morigan?! Because that would be awesome, being one who romanced Morigan and seeing them together would be pretty amazing in this game. Although the guy in the lion mask can be anyone, I thought it was a interesting thought. I tried looking up lion crests but only seen them come up for Theirin's family(I think its two lions, or two, gold wolves/dogs/weird cat thingy)
Another thing, at the end of the trailer, were a "short" guy is interrogating Leilana, does his voice not sound like Sandel?! Listen to it again and compare it to the dragon age 2 prophercy where Sandel talks about the inquistor. The video is here(Not my video, just someones from a quick youtube search):
Now my reasoning, in the E3 gameplay trailer, you see Leilana at 0:18 into the trailer, hanging from some chains, yet even hanging, she is kinda slumped(closer to the ground), so not her full height. The at the end, 1:46, she is still hanging and the "short" guy is threatening her. I think, please dont rage as I am just guessing, that the voice sounds eerily familiar to Sandel when he was reciting the prophercy.
Anyways, I would like to know your guys thoughts! Thanks!

Have posted this elsewhere, but just some general thoughts as I've been watching through the videos. Unfiltered impressions I gained.
-Female qunari mage protagonist? Interesting and well asked-for. Game reminds me kinda of The Witcher 2 with the close angle, and that's not a bad thing.
-Choppy framerate, but that's just from it being streamed.
-Wondering what the lines are all about when paused. They make no sense to me. Player will pause, drag a line from one character to another, then switch characters. What's the line for?
-Sort of curious about companions and mounts. Have we seen companions following on mounts yet? This seems like something which could get glitched easily so I sort of wonder if there will even be mounted combat or if companions will follow you on them, or if they'll just appear behind you when you dismount.
-Curious about health, and a bit worried. They showed the damage done to enemies, but not party members. The party is doing damage in the hundreds often. Meanwhile, Bioware typically likes having party health in the low hundreds. This made for numerous problems with the combat system in 2 so hopefully it isn't carrying over into this game.
-The lines look like a way to show the player what they're doing. Hopefully for consoles only. They look to connect who you're controlling and what you're selecting, as well as what path might be taken. Not bad, just again...hope to only see it on the consoles.
-I remain unimpressed with the combat. The enemies look too simple. The dragon is by far the best fight yet, but it also doesn't seem as vicious as what we've seen in the past, kicking this way and that constantly, grabbing people in its jaws and destroying party members. Enemies flat out look tame in this game.
-Still shennanigans with that stupid effing wheel. Pick one option, character says something entirely different. Even when what the character is saying is of similar length to what is written. They. Don't. Learn.
-Characters are extremely expressionless. They look alright, but they have really blank stares. Like, KotOR had more expressive characters...including the unvoiced player. Needless to say they don't compare to other, more recent Bioware titles including the past two DAs
-That entire couple minute cutscene and only one dialogue choice? Protagonist talking without prompt? Great, so they're taking from the school of Mass Effect 3. So happy to see they're not learning at all from some of the most vocal complaints.
