-Still shennanigans with that stupid effing wheel. Pick one option, character says something entirely different. Even when what the character is saying is of similar length to what is written. They. Don't. Learn.
-That entire couple minute cutscene and only one dialogue choice? Protagonist talking without prompt? Great, so they're taking from the school of Mass Effect 3. So happy to see they're not learning at all from some of the most vocal complaints.
I don't understand. Where are you getting this from? I couldn't even hear what the Inquisitor said, much less if it had anything to do with the option on the wheel.
And I'm pretty sure the only time I even saw the Inquisitor's mouth move was immediately after the dialogue wheel was used.

There's no way any companion is actually killed off screen like that, with their corpse just thrown out almost like an afterthought with no focus on them whatsoever. Seriously, do you think any one of the companions would be killed in a scene where you can literally blink and miss it? Even Mhairi's death was more dramatic.
This.
Sera didn't die there.

Besides, haven't they already shown at PAX that if you hover over a dialogue option for long enough, it shows in more detail what you'll say?

Am I the only male crying that Sera is female only?
She likes what she likes, and that's perfectly fine.
You can probably still make advances on her, she just won't find males to be her type.
Ah the hilarious burns and turn downs she could come up with ![]()

I'm perfectly happy with Sera being a lesbian. Unlike some I can roleplay as any gender or character I wish to.

Am I the only male crying that Sera is female only?
No it was in line with what I expected. Cassandra and Viv are a bit harder but I'll go with Cas. straight, Viv. Bi Viv looks like the type that will do anything to gain an advantage, including sleeping with anyone.

I believe that only applies to selecting *actions*, not all dialogue.
As in, if choosing a dialogue option means you're going to attack someone, you can see the consequences of that beforehand.
It doesn't apply to every dialogue option in normal conversations.

What's the latest on the minimap? I wasn't a huge fan of Skyrim's compass, but it was acceptable there since it was first person and gameplay encouraged you to get lost. I'm not sure how DA will work without minimap.

Theres a sort of compass bar which shows the general location of things(and enemies). There is a circle on some pics, so some sort of mini map is likely.

I REALLY hope they will reveal more companions. There are still not confirmed rogue companion, we don't know who is Scribe girl, we have few Solas pictures but nothing more, I think a lot of Cullen funs want to see their favorite templar.

But...planning your party ahead of time based on how their abilities complement each other is totally strategizing, as is having a good gameplan going into the fight?
Like don't worry, you'll get your MMO UI, but those are very strategy-type things to have to do?
Fair enough, but I don't like relying entirely on party strategy - just the basics, like do I have a tank, a DPS, healer, a rogue etc. I most definitely love MMO UI, it's clear, massive and just the best option for PC
I'd rather have most of my spells and talents up front, available for a single click, thant micromanage. Thanks for the confirmation, y'all!

Finally had a chance to catch up on the day.
Damn near speechless. This game topped my most-anticipated list and that demo stuff doubled the hype. So effing glad I became a Dragon Age fan at the start of the year. So effing stoked to keep going with the series in just four months.
Iron Bull OMG. Looks so rad.
Lol, i'm exactly in the same place as you. I did DAO and DA2 in a few months to catch up with the Dragon age series and i'm extremely stock with Dragon Age I. The demo was amazing and i can't wait.

There was a minimap in the demo.

That guy with the lion helmet next to Morrigan is Cullen.
Lol, poor Cullen fans honestly. I am convinced BioWare is teasing them by showing as little of him as humanly possible. I mean, when you think about it, it could have been him, music swells, we hold our breath, he turns around finally and *boom* giant lion's head.
Nasty devs. ![]()

So I found a 'screener' video of the demo from E3, runs about 15 minutes, there are two heads in the way, but you get to see some pretty cool stuff and hear some dialogue.
Note: the Inquisitor in this video is a Dwarf Male Warrior.
Note 2: I can't be quite sure, but I think those are elves talking and it appears the accent is just simply a british one - the irish lilt appears to have been ret-conned?
