Oh dear, I was gone for a lot longer than I anticipated...

So new gameplay demo? That's all? Editing the OP with link to Gamespot stage demo.

Dorian sounded English to be me, but I'm awful with accents.

Considering Fenris, Denarius and Hadriana, who were also from Tevinter, had English accents, it might make sense.

They said a while ago we weren't getting a Mabari this time around, didn't they?

I hope that's not the case because I loved my dogs from Origins and DA2

They've already confirmed a Cullen romance, so yes - at least one of the advisers is romanceable.

Not sure about controlling them. Probably not in battle, but there's a chance you could assign them to missions or something.

Hmm I ready some guys playthrough of DAI (a link is somewhere on this forum) which was like the demo Bioware showd at E3. And it seems that leliana was sent there (to the mages) by the inquisitor and that that situation can turn out differently with different characters. So the game seems to have more possibilities for us than I thought.

Impressive. That would be a neat way to have your advisors play a role in certain quests, and having the chance to send different characters to different quests can have--as you said--various outcomes.

I wouldn’t pay a lot of attention to it though: judging by the way it was written, the author is not really familiar with the franchise

I saw that too. Back when the devs first talked about building up the different areas of the war effort (military, spies, commerce) it seems like they mentioned boosting the advisors' personal capabilities as well.

If that's true, I wonder if we can level up Leliana in such a way that she won't get caught. But I may be misremembering what they said months back.

It may also be possible to somehow compromise the garrison's defenses before Leliana goes in. They've talked about that elsewhere. Or this may be a completely unavoidable scripted event for whoever is sent.

For some reason that reminds me of Sending your baby Assassins on missions in AC:B.

If they weren't high levelled enough, they could die on missions.

Sera's accent is either Northern English or Scottish (possibly?)

It's too difficult to tell currently but her accent is DEFINITELY very distinctive.

Can anyone guess Dorian's accent/VA? I still can't hear him properly in his videos.

she's definitely not got a scottish accent! scottish is sebastian. she sounds northern english on reflection (at first she sounded australian to me tho lol)

dorian sounds english.

context: I am a Scot

Some people have suggested that Sera's accent could be a Manchester (or similar Northern-English) accent.

For example, like these characters from Coronation Street (spoilers for Coronation Street, I guess?).

Or rogue.

The first dragon battle they showcased this week was with a rogue Inquisitor.

Which one of the interviews described the various combat camera forms, be it continuous, tactical, or tactically static like XCOM? This was an important point for me, and wished to pass that info along. Thanks!

Found it: Mike Laidlaw in the IGN interview from yesterday.

Or rogue.

Clearly the only way to fix this is to show a human mage.

I mean elf rogue.
