Well, I recently (yesterday) was forced to reformat my computer, and I lost all of my Mass Effect data. No more save file, profile, nothing. Now, Mass Effect 2 comes out on Tuesday, and I'm like, freaking out. So I figured I have to resort to cheats to get a playthrough done on time. I had all achievements unlocked, a level 60 character for every class; there's no way I'm going to be able to get any of that back in 4 days
I remember a dev saying 'if it doesn't interfere with the plot, it's fine' but that may of changed, and there may have been new info revealed that I'm unaware of (I haven't had my computer since December 25th).
The only cheats I'm going to use are:
1) Unlock Achievements
2) Give xp (get to level 60)
3) Give Talent Points (to get intimidate and charm maxed)
I'm not doing anything that would be illegal normally (more then one bonus talent, too many talen points, etc.) so I think I'm fine. But I just want to be sure. I'm going to feel like crap anyways.

Really? I heard you just can't recruit any squad mates in ME2.

Actually it was released that your character HAS to end up dying no matter what path you choose.
