There are other co-op multiplayers out there in the big wide world, Far Cry 3 being one.
Battlefield have the option of renting your own server...just BANHAMMER the trolls. But TBH it's fairly lame at times.

And how is this any different from getting hatemail for outscoring PUGs in ME3?
True.
Since this is now an E-peen thread, I'm once again issuing 1v1 challenges in SFIV & SSFIV. Come at me babbys.

Challenge accepted, but were also playing some Gears after
It's on. Gears 3 right?

Player versus player ME4 is the best idea ever. It would give Biovar the chance to make ME4 identical to every PvP online franchise, and dump the boring uniqueness of the ME franchise. Another game like Titanfall, Destiny, CoD and the like is exactly what we've all been waiting for.
I bet that with enough effort they could make it about 27% as good as Halo multiplayer.

me and zyz vs you 2
me and zyz vs you 2
I've never played it, but I'm pretty sure I'd pwn you scrubs.
me and zyz vs you 2
you should teach him how to Mario rather than let him play with kids like what you saw in the previous video.Lol @ Argent.
Way to take a shot at my 12 year old son too.. and the millions of other people that play CoD.
Is that suppose to define the cod community as a whole? Don't be ignorant kid
This. I've met a lot of cool people in both CoD and Halo multiplayer.
PVP in ME? HELLLLLLLLZZZZZZ NO!!!!!
I popped my copy of CoD 4 in a few years ago and was appalled by the amount of hax lobbies there were, since there was no longer support for the game.
Another thing it has in common with ME3.
Only on PC.
It's just clever use of game mechanics otherwise.
I played CoD for three years, and let me assure you those views (and that video) are quite accurate.
It's pretty much the lowest common denominator that plays that game.
I would like to have some PvP options in next effect (like titanfall for example, when both teams verse AI grunts as well).
1. Because I wish crowd control will be toned down big time (but I doubt that will happen). Otherwise it would be a crappy idea.
2. As Anno said, PvP options do not make game competitive per se.

Really? How many hacked lobbies are there on PC?
This. I've met a lot of cool people in both CoD and Halo multiplayer.
People can defend the CoD community as much as they like, and they would be right in saying that they're not all idiots.
However, as I said before there is a very good reason that the CoD community has gotten the reputation that it currently has. Anybody trying to deny that is just fooling themselves.

Nobody has denied cod's bad rep.
and yet every time it's brought up it's met with cries of "but they're not all bad!" and "I've met plenty of cool people on CoD!".
Maybe not flat out denying but you're definitely attempting to defend a community that overall is one of the worst in gaming. It probably would be the worst if not for League of Legends being a major competitor.
I've played a lot of PvP and while it's true that not everyone is a douchebag enough are to make me vehemently opposed to PvP in Mass Effect.
I'd say I've experienced 50% good competitive fun with congrats given to the winners at the end and 50% hackers, cheaters, griefers, gankers, spawn campers, tea baggers and 14 year old's calling me a f*ggot and my mother a wh*re. As opposed to ME3 where, after 3200 games I can count the times I've been insulted on one hand.
