Would you like some exclusive content for all classes? You know, for example: tournament for warriors, robbery for rogues and some exorcism for mages?

(you can obviously post your own ideas)

Personally, I would like to see something like that. I would have feeling that my character is better at something than other classes and that I just didn't decide whatever I want to stab people or throw fireballs after them.

Yeah, I would.

Learning a specialization should be a quest in itself, be it training with Alistair, going with Morrigan for a shapeshifting forest trip or drunken brawling with Oghren.

That would be really nice, adds something new when you explore other classes. Loved the quests for Slim Couldry in Origins.

Yes please. The more unique content (race/gender/class specific) the better, as I enjoy numerous playthroughs.

Is a good idea, no one really knows how the game will be when ready, maybe something like you suggested, but in terms of quests I'm not so worried, I really want to see if the game will be more fluent and attractive.

I've always wanted more quests like this in every rpg, was it an mmo or not! Especially the specializations should have their own quests.

I would very much like that. It would add to replayability and give the different classes a deeper meaning.

But why exorcism for mages? Why not go on a hunt fora rara, legendary magical item or do some research of ancient(elven) cultures or  magical beasts.

The warrior could also do things like give lections in fighting to local militias, or hunt down bandits.

And the rogue could also do some smuggling or go on treasure hunt after finding a treasure map or some hints.

JCFR: As I said, you can post your own ideas. I just wrote first thing I came up with :)

As a completionist, NO. I need to do everything (or at least everything POSSIBLE) in a single playthough. However, I wouldn't mind class specific ways to solve quests (Think Quest for Glory series by Sierra).

My companions should be eligible.

I don't mind the idea, but unless they do something about mages/warriors being able to open starting chests I won't ever experience them if they are in the game.

As long as the content is equal for all classes then why not?

Yes.  I am in favor of this.  This is the kind of thing that adds replay value for me.  I'd love to see either specializations or class-specific background quests in DA: I.

Only if all 3 classes get an equal amount of exclusive content....

I liked the Warden rogue being able to do those quests to become the Fox. So I would agree to add class specific quests as well.  :)  Rogue is usually what I start off with but DA:I has qunari and I may do that first instead.  :)

I don't have to have exclusive content for all classes (although I wouldn't mind). However, different approaches for certain quests based on the main characters class could be nice, too (and probably less complex to make). For instance, a "client" hires the Inquisitor to steal a valuable object (for whatever reasons, I'm just making stuff up right now, obviously). The rogue sneaks into the building via a secret passageway that's full of traps. The mage might be able to cast a spell on the guards at the front door and walks in. And the warrior knocks the guards at the backdoor unconscious and marches through.

This makes sense in a single character RPG, but in a party-based game I'm hard pressed to explain why I can do the Mage-specific quest as the Inquisitor, but not with Vivienne.

I'm a little confused by your reference - QFG had lots of class specific and class RESTRICTED content.

You couldn't get paladin quests unless you were a paladin. You couldn't get mage quests unless you were a mage. Places you could not go unless you knew the Thieves Sign. Etc.

While there were cases where your class let you solve a problem in different ways, there were also many cases of content that you could not see on one play through due to the class you chose.

Yes because then I will have to play it again and again in order to experience everything rather than just blowing through it in one go.

As replacement for boring fetch quests, yes that would be good.  Whilst many find that fetch quests help fine tune tactics and help equip them with additional items, I often find many more are repetitive and grinding.  Although that doesn't usually stop me from playing them as I am a completionist and compulsive locked chest opener after all...

Must open all the things... Must do all the things...
