We've had threads about returning characters, returning locations, ongoing story threads etc, but I haven't seen any threads regarding some of the more 'mundane' items of Thedas you'd like to see again.

For instance: -

Murder Knife, the ability to loot/pick pocket Hawke's or the Warden's murder knife would be pretty cool.

Vigilence - The legendary sword of the warden, stolen and passed through several hands the awakening slide said. Would be cool for it to be the Inquisitors for a while. Especially if you run into the Warden while using it.

Kirkwall Combat - Upon first entering Kirkwall you are set upon by bandits, after deafeating them a second larger grou appears on the roof tops around. Boldly diving from 3 storeys up on to stone pavements the group collapses in agony having shattered their shins. Cut to Inquisitor giving the party a 'WTF' look. Extra if you have Varric in the group he simply slings Bianca over his back and says "It's a Kirkwall thing" before marching on past the groaning bodies.

Blank Vellum - You can never have enough, might make a nice gift for Scribbles.

Kirkwall-esque Hazardous Architecture: If we do venture to Kirkwall, or another ex-Tevinter city, we see the unfortunate aftermath of various people having tripped and landed on all the rusty metal spikes everywhere in sight.

Cassandra: Varric, your story neglected to mention the various people getting impaled walking down the street...

Varric: Eh, I grew up in Kirkwall all my life. After a while, you don't notice the corpses everywhere... kind of like dogs in Ferelden?

Other irrelevances that I really want to see come back?  Item descriptions, even the lowly iron ring.  I loved that in DA:O and its one of the reasons 2 wasn't near as fun for me.

Ser Pounce a Lot....possessed by Justice and this time they're really pissed.

As for a location I'd like to go to Lothering, see whats left. There could be traps in the fields still if you complete Barlin's quest.

I would love to find the Starfang and Valiance in the world of DA:I. You complete a quest arch and get it as a high level longsword or greatsword.

Speaking of Starfang, I wouldn't mind seeing the return of the Superman gag from Origins... such as us running into Jon and Marta again, as their young son holds up a fully loaded wagon while it's wheel is being replaced, only to drop it as the Inquisitor comes close. Or running into a bald fellow named Luthor who's studying a strange green rock...

too bad we arent going to kirkwall... maybe a nice reference in one of the cities though...  with varric remarking that they must have been from kirkwall
