Sorry but the kinect is part of the hardware and is required for the console to work. so yeah that is not  going to happen.

It already happened.

Truly Unbelievable, an amazing Collector's Edition.
As a Tarot Reader myself the cards are a must have.

A pretty good deal for $170 US if you think about it. The standard edition is $60-$70. The CE has the DLC bonuses + all these other things for $100 more.

I am loving the ink and quill! I wonder how practical it'll be to write with? And is it true that there'll be a secret compartment where were can actually put out lockpicks to use?

No "season pass" with it I guess?

...Not a very good move :(

Season passes are typically associated with multiplayer-heavy games. I don't think BioWare has ever released one and I doubt it will happen this time.

Hm, I was hoping this would be a must buy for me, but I think I will have to pass. There is already a separate Art of DAI book coming out on the 7th, so I'll get that instead, and that will save me $70 bucks. I hope that after the game releases Bioware decides to sell a cloth map of Thedas in the Bioware store. I would buy THAT in a heartbeat. I'm glad they finally posted it though, it is super cool looking.

I can't imagine how much this will cost in Australia. Newly released AAA games here normally retail for 80-90 Aussie bucks.

Tarot cards? Hell I would get it just for those. I love tarot decks.

Of course you do, Yuka-tan.

Thanks OP for posting details.

The Collector's Edition does look good, but £130  :o !  I must confess the most I have ever paid is £90.00 and that was enough!

I think I gonna have to sleep on it!

That's a bit pricey.  For that price I would want an attached statue. I need to see the tarot card artwork before I can decide. I new a new jewelry box though so I'm considering...

Also, didn't EA do away with their season passes?

I think that was for certain existing games at the time.

Both Battlefield 4 and Titanfall have a season pass.

Those were online passes. BioWare doesn't do season passes anyways(atlease not yet).

Can a mod tell me if that cloth map is as inaccurate as the timeline map on the dragonage.com website?

I hope the devs post some pics of the tarot cards (like made 4 from each arcana) so I could tell if I like the art and to see if the cards look to be decent looking.

Still personally on the fence about the Collector's edition.

Don't get me wrong, the package here is impressive in every sense of the word, but I still have some reservations about just how good Dragon Age: Inquisition can be... A purchase at $60 is a given, but is the game on it's own to justify a $160 price tag?

That's just usually how I do my "Collector's Edition" rationalization... and that question unfortunately has to be built on faith because of the limited supply of these editions.

I'll probably have a better grasp after E3, but my window may have expired by then.

No way in hell I'm spending $170. There's some interesting stuff, but not worth the price of almost three games.

Same. I am tempted to buy it, but I can't justify paying a hundred more dollars for the miscellaneous goods.

Hm, final decision stands: I'll go with the Deluxe Edition.

The price is enormous (170€ when it's 170$...really?I get the feeling that importing it would be even cheaper...) and I might only be excited over the extra stuff for a while at the beginning before it starts to collect dust and will never see the sunlight again :/
