They are included.
Every edition gets them, if you preorder.
Actually, all the UK websites I've checked out have different preorder bonuses. Amazon has the weapons, shop.to has the armour and Game has the armoured horse. It seems the only way to get the entire Flames of the Inquisition DLC is through the Deluxe edition on Origin (it says the standard editions only have the Weapons, which is more confusing), unless those shops just aren't describing their product/bonus properly. ![]()
$209 is actually cheaper than I expected for the PC edition. I was guessing $220 AUS.
Since I already paid $50, I should be able to pay it off in a few more instalments over the next five months.
I know that taste and interests are subjective things, but there's absolutely no way that I'd ever get the CE at that price. It's just far too much money (equal to nearly 4 new games imported at $60) for a collection of objects that are neat but not must-have. $230 AUD for the stuff that comes in that box is just bonkers, in my view.
I definitely don't begrudge anyone who preordered a CE, but this really isn't piquing my interest at this point - the Deluxe Edition is much better value, and has useful bonus content.
(I'll admit to feeling slightly disappointed, given the ideas that were floated ages ago of having multiple levels of CE - if there was a $100 or $110 edition with the map and steelbook case, I'd have second thoughts about not picking it up.)
How so?The whole tarot cards thing is very, very, very weird.
I really wonder whose idea that was.
Reaction here surprises me. I can appreciate a good display item, like a book or figure, but this is just an expensive equivalent to stickers and post cards.
Edit: Not to say its all just that. The map should be nice (still got mine from DAO), and tarot cards if you're into that, but the rest just looks like filler. $100 worth?

It would be cool if they had a 'day one' edition like the tales series does. In the recent Tales day one edition you get an art book, steel case, and soundtrack. If bioware did that then I may be tempted.
Well this looks very nice. I just spent about 30 minutes discussing how I would mount/frame/display the cloth map. I do recall that some months ago Jessica made a forum thread asking players about their preferences for CE items. A large** size cloth map was one of my preferences, and I'm quite pleased to see it included.
** Pinecone posted the dimensions as 14x17, but the Gamestop page says, "Cloth map of Thedas drawn to scale measuring approximately 22" x 32" "
Can we stab the map with the lockpicks?
Is that the true purpose of the lockpicks?
I just really wanna stab a map.
Pls.

I certainly hope you wouldn't stab a cloth map that came in a CE that is over $150.
(Yes, I did assume you were joking.)
I hope the collector edition come out on xbox 360
Still no PC CE for UK/Europe? This is getting tense...
Something to note is that EB Games Australia is listing the Standard edition instead of the Deluxe edition in the CE contents. I'm guessing that's a mistake, but just thought I'd mention ![]()
And yeesh, I was holding out for this but at this price I think I'll pass - I'd rather use that extra $120 to buy World of Thedas + the artbook. I'd still have money left over and I'm sure I'd get more out of them over the CE goodies.

No soundtrack? It was my most wanted item ![]()
The cloth map looks ok, the tarot card might have some nice artword on them, the sketch book doesn't look like much unfortunately and everything else is just meh for me.
I don't know... I'll have to think about it, but I'm leaning towards the standard edition at this point.

Strange... I'm sure I read somewhere, may have been on a news site rather than on a product listing, that a digital soundtrack (code) was in the box.
Like many here, I was initially excited but now I'm on the fence. I think, best case scenario for me would be the steelbook, map and maybe the card deck in with the deluxe edition, so a middle CE if you will. At the moment, there's a massive jump in price to get anything physical in terms of memorabilia with the editions of DAI, since the deluxe edition is a standard copy of the game with a set of codes for in-game items only.
It's very pretty and shiny, but I need to not starve for the next few months so I'm sticking with the regular edition.

I was actually wondering about that. Is it actually a typo, or does the CE here only come with the standard edition. If so i'm

Also note that they still don't have a delux edition for pc up either. So pc might plain be out of light for the dlc goodies unless it's the digital version. (extra not happy)
Double posted because i'm irked.
The Dragon Age fan in me wants it because it looks nice, but the gamer in me wants only the Deluxe Edition, because it's cheaper and has the digital goods, which is what I care about. I would have been convinced if the CE had something I could wear, like a ring or a pin or a patch. Anything, really. All of these items are novelty, and I'll never use them.
Uber edition pre-ordered. Price is little high, but I really want all that stuff that comes with it. I just hope that it comes on release day. There was a problem back when ME2 was released and CE came like 2 weeks after the release date and I had to buy normal edition too.

Yeah, I don't disagree that it's over-priced, but given how ludicrously expensive software is in Australia, it's about what I expected.
I buy almost all my games deeply discounted on Steam or out of bargain bins - the only PC games I've paid full price for in the past five years are the Dragon Age games, SWTOR and The Secret World. (I've paid more than cost for a couple of Kickstarters, but that's because I wanted to invest in getting the game to production in the first place.) For me, buying a physical copy of a game at full price is something I do maybe once a year, so on the rare occasions I do so I'm willing to pay well over the standard price.
I don't have a lot of boxes any more, but I still have the Baldur's Gate games in their original packaging, maps included, and they have a lot of sentimental value for me. I expect I'll feel the same way looking at my Dragon Age collector's editions in a decade. I can absolutely see why other people would be reluctant to fork out more than $200 on the basis of future sentiment, though

Hmmm, yeah, this is make or break for me. I'd love the Collector's edition bits and bobs, but not as much as I want the digital stuff. So if the game that comes with the Inquisitor Edition is only the standard version then I'll preorder the Digital Deluxe from Origin. But if the CE comes with all the digital bells & whistles as well as the collectibles then I'll get that. Some clarification would be nice, please, if any BioFolks in the know are reading this thread ![]()

I just read this entire thread, and Dammit, People! Stop trying to talk me out of my pre-order!! I already pre-ordered it, and I want to see what is in that damn hidden compartment!
