lol! just tried to pre-order from the GS links on page 1 and it said it's not available.   this is after inputing my powerup # and logging in.

note: I used the USA PC link. Gotta jet out, but will try to stop by my local GS store for better results.

Can anyone clarify what the Standard Edition preorder bonuses are in the UK? Because the EA website says it includes the Flames of the Inquisition weapons, armor and mount, whereas Amazon, Shop.to and GAME only seem to offer one of those three items respectively. And then the Origin website says the Standard PC download only contains the weapons. I'm trying to find out if I can get the entire set in one Standard Edition so I can just preorder that, but there isn't any clear information.

I checked again this morning and the PC edition is back in stock on the EB games Canada shop!  Preordered with express shipping.  There goes $237.42.  WORTH IT.

It will be up on the EB Games website eventually. If EB Games Canada has it, the Australian one will too. They're just late with the updates.

 

(But probably at $200 or something ridiculous.)

Gamestop in Sweden now have PC Dragon Age Inq CE in their homepage !

 

AND deluxe is included. But seems I cannot simply preorder through the homepage, the same for the console versions...And no prices yet.

Mine is 20 miles away and if I do next day delivery my payment is usually processed the day before the game comes out and is sent out the day before also. That way I always get the game on the day it comes out. They have never been late with delivering the game same day it comes out. I always take next day delivery. Are there any strategy guides for pre-order yet?

No, you're not the only one. The GameStop in my town would take maybe 10 minutes to get to, yet I won't be able to play DAI on Oct. 7th because GameStop is saying it'll be 1 business day for processing or whatever then 1 business day for shipping. That's 2 days I'm sitting here like a chump AND gamestop is forcing me to pay $15 EXTRA to do it. Ridiculous.

 

I'm in this boat too. I've never pre-ordered from gamestop, but it seems the best shipping option I can find on their site isn't a guaranteed release day ship -  so I don't trust it. I had basically decided to just preorder it at the gamestop across the street from my work...but I guess the forums seem to be saying they don't do that.

 

I was all hyped to throw my money at the collector's edition the instant it was announced. But I want to be able to play DA:I the day it comes out more than I want all the extra stuff. And I'm starting to realize the Collector's Editions of ME3 and SWTOR I bought really just added more junk to my house...

 

So....this being a gamestop exclusive has slowly convinced me not to by the collector's edition.

Travel to one of the countries who have it. They didn't confirm that it will be avaiable just where there are Gamestop, but...

We don't have Gamestop on Brazil and, as you can see, no CE. Good luck for you.

does that include Australia? I'm looking at the website and it says standard edition included. I'm interested in it but it costs $229 dollars so I'm hesitant to drop that kind of money on something that is missing some pretty cool content.

 

Best to check with EB personally, it's possible the local distributor in Aus has something weird going on with the CEs.

The link is in the OP, EB Games Aus has CEs up for Xbone, PS4 and PC.

 

(Though as people have said, their page says it includes the Standard Edition, not the Deluxe Edition as Mike said. Could be a mistake, or something strange about Australian retail.)

Well that's really disappointing but thanks for the info though. It's an absolute shame Gamestop doesn't ship to other countries.

 

 

EDIT: Just checked Gamestop.com and they DO have shipping charges for other countries. MORE RESEARCH!!!!

the Australian copy for Ps4 costs $215.21 USD (AUD $229) while the US version is only $169 USD that's almost a 50 dollar mark up. which, in my opinion is ridiculous!

$200 for the PS4 version!? Damn, I'm already going to be buying a PS4 for this game, I don't know if I can justify the collectors edition this time.   :-(

In Germany it costs 169€ which equals 231 USD… And there is still nothing for PC.. Only Standard Edition..

And based on past cases, I'm sure this CE would costs around $250~300 on Brazil. The Watch Dog's one whose costs $130 is about $230 here. Ou official price for PS4 is about $1750...

Well I put my pre-order in online at GameStop a few hours ago, yay right?

Who the hell knows I got no confirmation email, it doesn't show up on my order history and nothing on the credit card which I wouldn't expect there to be on a pre-order but at this point at least it would be reassuring! Bang up partnership there Bioware/EA way to instill confidence in your consumers.  And yes I will be bugging Gamestop tomorrow but if Bioware/EA actually bothered to give us a few choices who could go with a business that gives a damn about their customers.

 

I got a confirmation email right away...like within seconds of the order completing. If you didn't, I would think it didn't go through. I bet the folks in your local Gamestop could help sort it out for you. Good luck.

Well, it's back for PC if anyone's interested. I just pulled the trigger.

 

Still really goddamn annoyed that this is the only way I can do this, but I only buy two or three brand new games a year, and this is an important one. Would hope that Bioware doesn't make the awesome edition exclusively available through one store's online shop in the future though. I retract some of my earlier complaints, but I still resent the fact that I'm being bullied into shelling out for 1 day delivery in the hopes of guaranteeing my ability to play this game the day it comes out.
