It's been said that the IE -does- include the deluxe stuffs. I think Laidlaw said it? I was worried about that as well yesterday.

 

They should really include that in the page then.

 

The price isn't so much what I'm worried about, I spent about $200+ when ME3 came out, but I am concerned because at the very least, two other great games are coming out in October/November that we also want.

 

It's also the fact that I preorder and put a lot of hope into DA2 and ME3 which while, don't get me wrong, were beautiful games, but ... well, I don't need to remind a lot of people about the fiasco about those two, so even with all these gorgeous stuff about Inquisition, I am cautious at best.

Has someone asked Mike why Australia isn't getting the deluxe version with the CE, or why for the matter that pc doesn't even get it all unless you get the digital version.

I want the Uber Edition but I hate throwing money at Gamestop.  I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and hope a Less-Uber Edition comes out with, say, just the steel book and the map for $80.  And the badge, of course.  I need it next to my N7 patch.

PS4 version of the deluxe game is $103.00 USD ($109.95 AUD) in Australia, as opposed to the $69.99 USD ($74.71 AUD) that Americans pay.

 

That alone was a $35ish mark up anyway.

 

Why does in the Inquisitor's Edition only come with the Standard Issue of the game? I want the digital deluxe gubbins too.

 Just checked the eb games website here. apparently it now includes a digital deluxe edition. *sigh* looks like I'm gonna be $229 dollars poorer.

I really would like to know whether the UK will even have a PC version available, as should it not, my intention would be to order the PS4 version, sell the game and keep my Origin order open but the longer it takes to know, the greater the chance of selling out :/

I've e-mailed GS and asked them on Twitter, no response yet.

Yeah, most likely already sold out.  When they first announced the Inquisitor Edition, all editions were preorderable.  Then PC became out of stock before going back in stock.  Then I think PS3 version went out of stock.  Now, all Inquisitor's Edition seem to be sold out for all platforms on EBGames.  They might come back every now and then but you really should have preordered the instant they announced it.  Now you have to keep checking their website and hope that one of the Inquisitor versions will come back in stock, or else check with a local EBGame and see if they can preorder for you.

seems odd that the Inquisitor edition being sold out... from what I was lead to believe in the US Market, they were taking pre-orders online to determine numbers so as to manufacture them, hence they would be sent to you not the shops.

Well that f-ing SUCKS. I don't trust Gamestop, so I'm not going to get this. Now I will go pre-order the Deluxe from Amazon because I had been waiting for the CE to appear before pre-ordering.

 

I assume that using this tactic is a ploy to get people like myself, who aren't normally Gamestop customers, to buy from the store. But I really wonder how much extra money they will make by having an item like this be exclusive to them. How many people like me will forgo it because they don't like Gamestop, or they have ongoing relationships with other retailers?
