Has there been any word from BioWare and Derek French since he posted here?
I'm very disappointed with the fact that they chose to make the CE exclusive to just a few countries. I was really hoping to buy it.

Nothing yet. I'm slowly losing hope.
Greetings:I know there has been a lot of confusion about the editions for Dragon Age: Inquisition and what comes with what on which platform in each part of the world. We are working with all our partners to try and get the messaging straightened out and we hope to have a clear update for you in the next few days. Sorry for the hassle.
So, 5 days later and still nothing but silence from BioWare about the lack of PC versions of the Deluxe and Collector's Editions in the UK (and other countries)! This really needs to get sorted ASAP before BioWare finds themselves losing even more supporters! ![]()

According to this article they're working on the uber PC edition for Europe, but Gamestop is the distributor for the English version and they only ship to the UK. So even if they do end up stocking it, people outside the UK who want the English version can't get it.

Is this coming to Belgium Y/N?
i wonder, if in the future, bioware will sell their collections exclusively on their website? from what i've been reading, gamestop is maybe not the ideal company to sell through...maybe selling directly from their site would make it more open to everyone and less hassle with communications between companies?

Would be for America, but for everyone outside of it the shipping charges and taxing would be through the roof because of the size that collector's editions tend to be.

It's the examiner... I wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them. And they get 90% of their "news" from this forum anyway - especially the twitter thread.
It does match up to what we have been told though, that the UK 'should' be recieving a PC version of the Inquisitor's edition
How about a proper deluxe edition for the PC in Europe for starters, hahah
How about they tell us if the Inquisitor Edition will be available in countries where Gamestop doesn't exist? I'm really sick of them not communicating on what countries will get the IE besides those that have Gamestop. I lean more and more towards only the current countries that we know are getting the IE will get it, but an actual confirmation would be nice.
I'm not asking about a PC IE edition or if the PC IE edition comes with the deluxe or standard version of the game. I just want to know what countries the IE is planned for. That much they know, that much they can confirm. Why aren't they? Why the silence on if other countries besides the 5 or 6 we know will get it? What reasoning do they have to remain silent on this question?

I thought there was someone that quoted one of the developers saying that the Inquisitor Edition was going to be a Gamestop exclusive. If it is exclusive to Gamestop, I can't see countries that don't have Gamestop or one of the companies they own having access to it unless they buy internationally.
And since GameStop doesn't sell internationlly, none but the 16 countries that have their stores can buy it.
I see a lot of plastic crap. More soundtracks/"behind the scenes" and actual art books, instead of a lot of garbage.

I think the things are metal, not plastic.
$220 Aussie dollars! Forget it lol. The Deluxe Edition will do me fine ![]()

Really?
This is... a pretty huge problem for people who don't live in those countries.
I know Bioware's retail sales team probably made a good deal that gets them extra income or whatever, but... sheesh. That's disadvantaging an awful lot of potential customers.
lot of potential customers.
not really.
price is high enough. for...a bunch of items, which are only good to gather dust on them.
for example a price for CE is around 170$, and in some of those countries which are not included average payroll is 600-700$ in a month.

And in many of them it is a lot higher. I could easily count at least 16 other countries with MUCH higher incomes than the ones you mention. Some with even higher wage average than most of the ones who have Gamestops.
Maybe I should order an Inquisitor's Edition just to ebay it to one of you Europeans.

true that. but i belive decision about where to sell CE was carefully calculated.

The TriForce case, at least, is plastic. The replicas and statues that TriForce deal in are made of polystone, so don't expect the case to be of high quality (or that it's going to be made ethically).
I have to wonder if it would really be that much more expensive to manufacture these sorts of things from FSC-certified wood or something. Polystone isn't as bad as PVC but, yeah, it's still 'plastic crap.' A wooden case with DAI-themed detailing would be classy as hell.
Keeping the thread alive. Doesn't seem to be any news on CE for PC or physical DE in EU/UK yet? This wait is really annoying haha.
So how am I supposed to order this in Sweden?
Collector's Editions for other Bioware games have been available here. I hope this is not a big "SCREW YOU" to people outside certain countries.

All of Scandinavia has pretty decent incomes, and Sweden at least has very big video game market.
