The last thing I heard was that its going to be everyone can import (including across different platforms) or there won't be an import.

PC doesn't seem to be able to import saves.

And unless a solution for save imports has been made in secret, everything they've said publicly has indicated that save imports of any type look unlikely to happen at this point.

GAME is horribly unreliable.

I preordered two Xbox One launch titles from them and they hadn't even shipped them as of launch day! I ended up cancelling and going to their actual store, where to add insult upon injury I paid £10 more per game, because of that strange UK phenomenon of the same store charging more in-store that HMV also suffers from.

My experience with GAME is the complete opposite, almost every single game that I've ever pre-ordered from them has always been shipped prior to release, usually arriving either on release day or the day before. *shrug* The only time I've had a problem with GAME was when their financial problems caused a number of publishers to withdraw from using GAME as a distributor, as it happens the game I had pre-ordered was Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition and I (along with hundreds of others) had to search like crazy to find another distributor very quickly as it happend about a week before the game's release!

Anyway, back on topic, the days are sliding past and BioWare are still rather silent on the lack of either the Deluxe and Collector's Editions in UK/Europe! Just a simple "We haven't forgotten and are still working on a solution" would be better than just silence, sadly it's starting to seem as if they really don't care, but then that's about par for any EA owned company these days. :(

I was wondering about this. Let's say I am only interested in the soundtrack and a mount, e.g. the unicorn. Would it be possible to buy the standard edition for PC and the digital bonus content later separately?

Possibly, there's been no official comment on it, but no doubt the soundtrack will be released on Itunes etc.

As for the other DLC, chances are it will become available at a later date, besides the black emporium for DAII all other DLC has been made available to everyone I think.

There is a way for Scandinavians to order the CE from US and get it sent here. It's Jet Carrier, but shipping and taxes, it's going to cost a bit.

Edit: Doesn't use Po Box. You get your own street address and people there sign for your package.

Pretty much any country can order via courier, not just Scandinavia, but, since GameStop states in the DAI CE page that:

* This item cannot ship to a PO BOX or APO/FPO address

* Ships to U.S. addresses only

Since couriers usually use PO Boxes, you will most likely not be able to order through them.

So we're prevented from even doing that. Not good.

Know anybody in a country where the product you want is offered who might be willing to make the purchase and forward it on to you?

Having done quite a bit of shopping for our "German Daughter", I'm familiar with the process.  And with the "International Customs Declaration" form that'll have to be completed and attached to the package.  (Depending on your country's import tariffs, that might be a reasonable option for you.)

Please chime-in and upvote the suggestion so Best Buy will add Dragon Age to the $10 certificate promotion: http://forums.bestbu...-p/811904#M4978

Yes, since I posted the above I did a little research, and found out that some couriers do indeed offer proper (sort-of-fake) addresses within the US. If you can find one in your country, that may well be a solution.

I'm sorry if my former post mislead anyone.

And, Swaggerswag, I'm sorry for reacting without having all my facts.

Derek French gave some clarification about the Inquisitor's Edition content and pre-order bonuses here.

Just a quick warning to those in the UK ordering from GameStop. On the pre-order FAQ page, it states quite clearly that pre-orders placed using MasterCard, VISA or Paypal will be charged at the time the items are shipped. Standard right?

I've ordered the Inquisition CE from GameStop now, check my credit card balance to find I've been charged straight away for a 5 month early pre-order. Just putting this out there.

Hmm...yeah. I don't think I'll be getting this. Deluxe edition it is.

yeah same here. I wish they had different varieties of this edition. I would love to have the map, inkwell and sketchbook... no interest in the other stuff.

I agree with this. It's fine if they decide to put something like a good quality statue in it (like Ubisoft does for Assassin's Creed; very nice for that price), but give us something that's actually useful.

I understand that we have the nice World of Thedas book(s), so those of us interested in these things have an option, but an actual in-depth artbook of the game is always welcome. The complete soundtrack is another must-have item in my opinion. I'd prefer physical, but even good quality digital files are ok; CD Project, for example, recently gave us the option to download from GOG the FLAC version; before that, we could download the MP3 version at 320 kbit/s.

The cloth map could actually be nice, but I fear that it will be similar to DAO's one. Ultima IX is still my favourite cloth map from a game. Hopefully Divinity Original Sin, Torment Tides of Numenera and Project Eternity will finally give me new cloth maps that I would actually display.

This, all the way..

I'm so disappointed in crappy EA maneuvers to push Origin, keeping out PC retail versions of the "Deluxe Edition" content.

True that, GameStop did the same with my ME2 CE order here in Italy, charged upfront the day it was ordered, then got no notice AT ALL when it was shipped, and received it late.

GameStop is the dirtiest plie of crap shop there is.

Ugh, there seem to be so many issues with this CE - and it should be a fun thing for us collectors!
So, from what I understand; in some countries you can't get it at all?
And there is no PC version at all?
And it seem as the PS4 & Xbox versions are sold out?

Or am I missing something?

I really want this, but I play on a PC! So I am doomed?

I rather have one "Collector's Edition" instead of it evolving into what Ubisoft does with five different editions and each one has exclusive content.

You aren't doomed, you might not be able to get the collector's edition, but that is not a forgone conclusion anyway with limited development.

If you're in the US, you're good to go. They have all the versions for all platforms and their website states they are available.

If you're living in Europe for example, right now it seems EA has decided to not take your money. Don't know if this is better than their usual currency conversion into Euros or Pounds though...

I live in Sweden so no...EA doesn't seem to want my money..This was the one thing I was going to spend on myself this year too...
I have barely any money at all so I never buy anything just because I want to...this was gonna be the thing for me this year.
Damn it EA..

You had me worried! So I went and looked on the website and saw this:

When is payment taken for pre orders?

Important: Please note that for pre-orders purchased via MasterCard, VISA or PayPal we now take payment at time of shipping so please ensure you have funds available in advance of the release of the game.

When you place your order an authorisation is taken which can hold funds for up to seven working days. Funds will then be released and taken at time of shipping.

We take payment for any other card type pre orders when the order is placed.

There's been an update posted:

FAQ

When can I get the Inquisitor Edition on PC in Europe? - We'll have more information on the PC version of Inquisitor's Edition in Europe very soon.

Why is the PC version of the Inquisitor Edition less expensive in Australia?- Due to us not having the Deluxe PC Edition available in Australia at Retail, you will receive the Standard PC version in your Inquisitor Edition at a slightly lower price point. You will have the opportunity to upgrade to the additional digital content separately, when it’s available.

Where else can I get the Inquisitor's Edition? - The Inquisitor Edition is a Gamestop exclusive. It is only available in regions where Gamestop currently ships.

The Inquisitor's Edition is sold out everywhere! - Unfortunately, they were a limited run. Continue following our channels for updates

Why can't I get the PC Deluxe Edition in my country? - Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver the PC Deluxe Edition in some regions. However, the Digital Deluxe version is available for PC through Origin.
