Would anyone with a twitter account be nice and ask Mark Darrah or Aaryn Flynn about the status of CE for PC in EU/UK? It seems that the info provided earlier has proved to be wrong and it's not available globally yet as it suggested.

Kinda' missin' the point of "exclusivity", aren't you?

Exclusivity for a favorite group on the globe and it is not the BENELUX.

Yep, welcome to the club. I did drive to another country to pick up my CE on the release day once.  About 200-ish kilometres one direction. I was hoping with globalisation all that **** would go away and  you would be able to get things normal way. But NOPE.

The only country that loves the BENELUX-countries that much to include them into their own country every time they feel like it are the Germans.

Just kidding.. :P

Greetings:

I know there has been a lot of confusion about the editions for Dragon Age: Inquisition and what comes with what on which platform in each part of the world. We are working with all our partners to try and get the messaging straightened out and we hope to have a clear update for you in the next few days. Sorry for the hassle.

What's the good word Derek?

Still no CE for PC on Gamestop UK's website and no Deluxe Edition for PC on GAME's website! :(  Why can't BioWare sort out the distribution of their own game?

I think there is more to it than "we simply forgot to transmit the details of a PC collector's edition". I fear a PC collector's edition was never planned for most of Europe and now Electronic Arts is afraid of a shitstorm if they admit it...

It'd be nice to know for sure one way or the other. Someone?

Is it time to break out the "I used to be part of the Community, now I'm just European" sigs again?

I decided to purchase the Inquisitor's edition. When I called my local Game Stop, he said they were not shipping this game to the stores, it's coming directly to your home address. Got on the website, all set to place my order but it says the game won't ship until 10/7/14. Even if I get the one day delivery, I won't get this until 10/9/14? Is this the information everyone who ordered this edition is getting too?

Same exact thing happened to me.  The clerk at Gamestop said that the shipping date usually was a few days before the actual game release, & indicated that it will in all probability ship earlier than listed...but couldn't confirm since the stated ship date obviously contradicts that.

I'm very put off about the whole thing, especially if I actually end up paying more for a longer wait time.

I'm tempted, but I think I'll settle for the Delux.

Well, I've managed to get my order secured for an Inquisitor Edition, as I'm playing on console. I'm really not a fan of the practice of deducting the full value of the order from my credit card as a "card authorization", just for GameStop to give it back when I queried it - despite that they will eventually charge me again, in full when my order ships.

This may be commonplace for some companies' e-commerce, but it's certainly new to me.

I am getting really angry about this... Today CD Project Red will unveil the collector's edition for the Witcher 3. Maybe they want my money and I will buy this instead!

I'm also growing tired of this. I mean Bioware is still silent and Scandinavia now got theres, so I assume that we just won't get one. I'm also looking forward for the Witcher and I will buy that CE instead.

Some PC editions of the Inquisitor's edition don't come up with the Deluxe Edition (and its bonus content), but they should be slightly cheaper than the console versions.

The intention is that you can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition and get that content.

Just ordered mine PC CE yesterday at GameStop in Norway and the clerk confirmed that it included the Delux Edition.
I think it shouldn't even be a question about that. The Inquisitor's Edition is quite expensive and it SHOULD include all the digital perks by default! Anyway I find this whole GameStop exclusive thing annoying. The clerk wouldn't shut up about GameStop memberships and I just wanted the game damn it! I don't like GameStop, I'm never buying my games there and I hate to be forced to do so with this game.

At least they drop the price the difference between the normal and deluxe versions, which can be upgraded through Origin when that option is available.  Unlike other companies that just create another version without the missing content and not have a way to get the other bonuses.

At this rate, there's likely to be a shitstorm one way or the other due to lack of information. Maybe they're hoping the pesky Europe PC crowd will go away and forget about the Deluxe or Inquisitors Edition, and just buy the standard instead?

(Dumb idea I know, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case.)

Yeah. Reading between the lines it sounded like maybe a distribution or legal problem relating to the PC Deluxe Edition in some countries, since you have to assume that they would include the Deluxe inside the Inquisitor's Edition if it were possible.

I guess the advantage of playing on PC and with Origin is that it's easy to organise the upgrade/bonus content, compared to the console versions.

On another note, I'm having a really fun terrible time trying to track down a PS4 Deluxe Edition in, of all places, Taiwan.

Hey, the Witcher 3 collector's edition looks really cool and it is even available on PC! A collector's edition of an RPG on PC!!
Someone from EA has to tell CD Project Red that PC gaming is dead and that they should not release collector's edition on PC! ;)

Also, if you get it from GOG and have the previous games you get money off! :D

I wonder if EA did that with Dragon Age: Inquisition on Origin how upset people would be since I believe CD Projekt Red owns GOG?
