Ok, Gamestop Norway seems to be broken, at least for me, I cannot get any sort of "buy" button to show up, even when going through Norway-based proxy. Which is sad, as it looked like the only Gamestop in EU that had the PC version of Collector Edition.

:P  Love the bollocks... You're English I presume? I am too and I agree bollocks squared...

Nope, German, just working a lot over there. And I was working with British troops as JTAC-coordinator FAC for joint operations in Afghanistan

Well, I started considering ordering the physical deluxe copy from Amazon.com. It will arrive at the same day as it would release in EU, and the cost difference does not seem that large, even with shipping, taxes and other bollocks...

Seriously, where is that tax-free trade with US our EU representatives keep yammering about?

TTIP? Oh please not. We don't need lower US standards to replace ours and most people here don't want gene-manipulated food. Not to mention the other parts, that would effectively give us a new ACTA (which I am happy to say Germany has never signed and never ratified!).

Agreed that in its present form it is pretty awful, but I like the original idea behind it. I seriously hate paying tax on imported stuff from US, which happen to include lot of geeky stuff (lightsabers, shirts, etc), which is not available in EU for some reason...

However, let's not continue this offtopic about politics and let us complain why we cannot have PC Deluxe CE version in EU :)

Yep, back to the topic at hand. Which sadly isn't a real topic, as BioWare doesn't seem interested in it at all...

I've made my opinion clear before, but I'll say it again:

If you're one of the many people who cannot get the edition they want due to EA's restrictive agreements, BOYCOT THE GAME ENTIRELY!

Don't buy any edition, and force them to change their point of view. Because unless they realize that this policy hurts them in their wallet really bad, they're not going to change a thing!

Well Cheiron, the "problem" here is that I do not really want the CE, because it does not contain things like statues etc, ie. things that would fit on a shelf next to my other CEs. But I would like a deluxe edition, and I would like a physical box. And sadly, i am looking forward to this game very much to just dismiss it entirely...

Wait, aren't Amazon and a bunch of other online retailers selling PC Deluxe Editions though?

As far as I can tell, only in US. EU got pretty screwed over with no physical deluxe version (at least for PC, not sure about consoles, as I do not care about those).

Right now, I am considering having it shipped from Amazon.com to EU...

Soooo uh, yeah. Pre-ordered The Witcher 3 CE with no hassle whatsoever on PC here in the UK. What up?

I would hope in getting TW3 PC CE too. But there's no Physical Deluxe for PC DAI? I would like to have one though as opposed to the Digital Deluxe version. DAI CE is too pricey for me.

Thanks, Eleinehmm, but buying from Amazon.com with additional shipping costs and import taxes in EU would make it somewhere between $200 and $250... which I consider absolutely ridiculous. Then I'd rather wait for a cheap second hand chest on Ebay.

@Aries_cz - I understand your point of view, and I wasn't just talking about the CE in my statement... my statement applies to the physical deluxe edition (PC) as well. If you feel you don't get what you should, don't buy. Ofcourse, EA is hoping that all people think like you... "ah well, we got screwed by them and they didn't give us the version that we really wanted, but I'm going to give them my money anyway... I'll just buy another version instead". Yes, I too look forward to DA:I, but if I have to, I can wait a year. I am not prepared to give them any money if they treat their customers this way.

Wait, aren't Amazon and a bunch of other online retailers selling PC Deluxe Editions though?

Amazon.co.uk only lists the standard version of the game for PC DVD, PS4, PS3, XBox One and XBox 360.

In the UK the Deluxe Edition is supposed to be exclusive to GAME, but while they also list the standard version for PC DVD, PS4, PS3, XBox One and XBox 360 they currently only list the Deluxe Edition for PS4, PS3, XBox One and XBox 360, nothing for the PC DVD Deluxe!

Gamestop.co.uk also list the standard version for PC DVD, PS4, PS3, XBox One and XBox 360 but currently only list the Collector's Edition for PS4, PS3, XBox One and XBox 360, nothing for the PC DVD Collector's Edition!

Seems as if BioWare/EA are simply spitting in the faces of all UK and European PC gamers! :( Days have turned into weeks and will soon become months, but BioWare and EA are saying very little about what's going on, which leaves us PC gamers in UK and Europe with a very bad feeling towards BioWare and EA!    As I've asked before, why are BioWare/EA seemingly incapable of resolving an issue with the supposed world-wide release of their own game?

Nope, thats not the case. I live in Germany and we have no physical Deluxe Edition for PC, so for now I pre-ordered it on Amazon.com and with shipping and taxes it only costs 2€ more than the Digital Deluxe Edition....

Edit: Only downside is, that I won't have it on release day

I did the math, the difference between getting a digital deluxe on origin (70 EUR) and having physical Deluxe shipped from Amazon to Czech Republic is only approximately 20 USD (because almost every online store thinks that 1EUR = 1USD). So now, i have to decide if the box and the discs are worth that.

And while I do agree with the "vote with you wallet" idea, I find it simply too difficult to just say "screw the game for a year" when dealing with certain titles. Yes, I am weak, and yes, I agree I do not help the issue at all, but that is just how it is...

Just that little? Just wondering, how much are you paying on shipping and import taxes? In my case (I did pick the 2-4 business days shipping, but the slower is only 10$ difference) it is 25$ shipping&handling and 20$ import tax.

With shipping 2-4 days it costs 112$ ~ 82€ with 24$ shipping and 18$ taxes. With shipping 8-14 days it's 98$ ~ 72€ with 12$ shipping and 15$ taxes.

So yeah, if you want it on release it's more expensive, otherwise it costs the same.

Ah so that is the difference, the slower shipping does not do that much difference in price for me. I was just wondering how you managed to get the price higher just by 2 euros. Anyway, I am keeping this option as a backup plan if we do not get any info about deluxe edition in EU...

Yeah, the shipping costs aren't the worst part. But just wait until it arrives with a note from customs that adds almost 30% (import taxes and administration costs)!  (I'm speaking from experience there!)

Where are you getting the impression that the DA collector's edition comes with the standard version? MY CE comes with the deluxe, and everything I'VE read says that they all do. *shrug* (GameStop)

I've also preordered TW3 CE and, frankly, I'm more impressed with the DA:I CE. I ordered TW3 CE simply because the statue will go with my TW2 bust. The Tarot cards are far more interesting to me, along with the rest. I was rather disappointed when I saw the TW3 CE reveal live. Was hoping for more considering CDPR's past offerings.

Straight off this: http://www.gamestop..../Configure/1123

If you hover off the console editions, they're Deluxe Editions, and the pricepoint is in line with the usual (PC always cost less than Console).

Dear Roxy, do you think that 38 pages of this thread are all a fuss for nothing? Be lucky that EA in your country didn't had to call on BULLSHIT to explain why they're not selling the PC Deluxe Edition, as they are doing here in Europe.

I don't want to rely on the Origin Digital Deluxe, I the right to have the physical box of the Digital Deluxe.

Like I've said before, unfortunately BioWare is getting tackled and entangled by EA's marketing bullshit where residents outside of the States are second rate customers.

Well, on the tiny positive side, there's still three or four months for them to sort both the DE and CE out for the PC in the UK.

Or so I keep telling myself.

Repeatedly.

A lot.

Every day.

Don't you get charged import tax? The other day I was charged import tax on two obitsus that I ordered from Japan... Anything over £15 (€18) is liable for import tax, that's not the problem, IT is only about £3, but then some carriers (Parcelforce) hold on to your parcel and charge you £13 (€15) admin costs before they release it!

From what I can tell, Amazon.com already has a "Import Tax Deposit" as part of international shipping price calculation. that deposit is used to pay off these kinds of fees.
