Damn, same reply as always.
"Thank you for contacting GameStop
We are unfortunately not going to be selling the PC edition.
I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you.
Kind Regards

Still no change then. And still no word on if anything will be done to serve all those countries that don't even have a Gamestop...
*If* the PC version is indeed finally coming to Europe it may take more than a few hours for the various GameStops throughout Europe to actually catch up with this news from Mark Darrah. Keep checking with your local GameStop over the next few days!

I am just going to assume that those countries are out of luck, as Gamestop refuses to ship to other countries...

Norway and Finland GS have it showing up on their website, but as far as I can tell, there is no way to order it online...

This.
I talked to the guy at the local GameStop, luckily it was someone I know, and he said decisions like this (offering it in the EU after all) could take a day or two to get posted on their internal news platform and thus reach the various stores. He said he'd try calling up the chain to find out more about this and also ask the marketing department what's up with this. I'll call him again tomorrow, hopefully he'll know more by then.

Hi EU Looks like I told you to go to retail GameStops to get the Inquisitor's Edition Looks like those stores don't always "exist" Stand By
So I talked to the local store again just now and they don't have any new information on this, not even up the chain it seems. They'll call me if they get new info today or tomorrow, otherwise I'll call them again on Monday. This is getting rather ridiculous, though...^^

Does anybody else have a feeling that the next update on this will be in an month or so and by then they will tell us the Inquisitor's Edition is all sold out?
I just pre-ordered the DA:I Inquisitor's collection for PC, from GameStop here in Sweden. On their webpage they show all the in-game extras, so hopefully it's all in the box. If not, then I'll cancel if there's a better deal somewhere else.
I pre-ordered the game in an actual store, not online, if that's any help for anyone trying to get it.

For mainland Europe, yeah, that seems to be an option now. However for the UK we don't have any stores, just the website :/
In Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark it's available in store for a few weeks now.
Not online i suppose ?

Q: @BioMarkDarrah unfortunately there is no Gamestop in the Netherlands. Will it be available in another store?
@Maureandil we had to make it a GameStop exclusive. It was the only way we could make it happen
So I guess Gamestop will remain the only option, that's not going to change, and everyone else is just SOL.
Somewhat curious and a little confused over that "we had to make it a GameStop exclusive. It was the only way we could make it happen" comment. Are we supposed to seriously believe that GameStop were the only retailer they could select for a so-called "world-wide" release that, in fact, isn't even remotely close to being world-wide?
That comment just makes it seem that both EA and GameStop are working together to perpetrate some sort of discrimination against all PC gamers outside of North America! ![]()
Sounds to me like Gamestop were the (only?) ones willing to pay quite a bit of money as long as they got the worldwide exclusive (even in countries where they're not active). And unfortunately, EA fell for it. I wish they would have just put the IE up on Kickstarter instead. They would easily have collected enough money, and at least then everyone could get it.
Well, that settles it. Off to my local Game to get the Standard Edition, as if I can't get the Deluxe edition in physical form for the PC in the UK, then bollocks to it all. I can't be arsed to pay the extra £25 or so to get a physical copy from the US.
So it seems that even Mark Darrah is struggling to make sense of what, exactly, is going on with the Inquisitors Edition. Meanwhile many are now starting to consider purchasing the retail standard version and taking the option to upgrade to the "Deluxe" content once that "digital upgrade" becomes available. Unfortunately all we know about that is the one reference in the FAQ from this threads OP:
Why is the PC version of the Inquisitor Edition less expensive in Australia?- Due to us not having the Deluxe PC Edition available in Australia at Retail, you will receive the Standard PC version in your Inquisitor Edition at a slightly lower price point. You will have the opportunity to upgrade to the additional digital content separately, when it’s available.
Why are BioWare and EA taking such a "refuse to comment" attitude towards this entire mess?
Players just want some answers but instead we get virtually nothing other than repeated "Stand By" posts on Twitter from Mark Darrah. We've been "Standing By" for over a month now, when are we going to be told something other than "Stand By"? ![]()
So waiting for physical copy (any better than standard) of Dragon Age Inquisition in Europe is totally pointless. Especially when there is no gamestop in my country. It's time to finally order Deluxe Edition from Origin.
And that's just what they expected of their good, little customers.
But hey, I don't wanna judge you...
@Grizzly: We in Europe already pay more than gamers in the US. "At a slightly lower price" is completely irrelevant, as we still pay more than the Americans do and we will do so for the upgrade as well. So they just decided to make us pay more TWICE.

Think you missed the point, I was merely pointing out that a number of people are hoping for a "digital deluxe upgrade pack" based on a single reference from the FAQ regarding the Inquistor Edition's pricing in Australia. The version of the Inquisitor Edition that's being sold in Australia does not include the Deluxe Edition contents, which is why the Australian Inquisitor Edition has a "slightly lower price point".
To date neither BioWare nor EA have made any sort of comment or announcement (that I'm aware of) in regards to any sort of "digital deluxe upgrade pack" other than that single "answer" in the FAQ which was in response to the Inquistor Edition's content and pricing in Australia.
Nope, we're still the red-headed stepchild it seems.
The red-headed stepchild who lives confined to the cupboard under the stairs, it feels like.
