Can anyone tell me what materials the statues, badges, and lockpicks will be made of? I can't find the information anywhere.

Nice.  Especially the tarot cards.  But nothing there makes me want to spend that much on it.  Actually can't think of anything at the moment that I would spend that much.

Do you live in Italy?

Nope, but I expect approximately the same price everywhere in Europe ( France, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Poland, Germany, etc etc ). With the M3 's collector edition , it seemed to me that there weren't real differences with the price.

So if in Italy, it's 180 euros, I expect something like 170 euros or more.

So much neat stuff, but also so much neat stuff that'll collect dust 2 weeks after.

And what's this stuff about the PC getting exclusive digital content?

Also, are the lockpicks functional? /whistles innocently

Hopefully not, it is illegal to have lock picks in your possession unless you are a registered locksmith (at least in Alberta).
Yea, not true all over though. In most places in Canada and the US, its legal to own them. The only way you would get in trouble in the US is if you were arrested for breaking and entering and they found the set on you, then you would possibly be charged with tools for the commission of a crime. Tennessee is the only state where they are fully illegal to own.

That said, I doubt they are fully functional. Would really neat if they were, because I like to collect lockpick sets. But considering that there are still places where they are not allowed, it just isn't likely.
So lock picks are illegal or prosecutable in places, out right illegal in the great state of Tennessee, but everyone can have guns, yeehaw! 'Murica.

PLEASE CORRECT the dimensions. They don't appear to match up with the website dimensions, and I spent 3 minutes trying to figure out how that box could be 3.5 inches only.

Do you think this collector's edition will be more like Ninokuni's Collector's edition (in that it was sold out before release and only findable at ridiculous prices afterwards) or more like Resident Evil 6's collector's edition (easily findable months after release for dirt cheap)?  I too don't really see anything that interests me.  Just stuff that will take up space in a corner of my room.  But if prices decrease a few months after release, why not.

I would have prefered an artbook or a statue, or something more useful.

The ME3 collector's edition was "first come, first serve, when we are outta stock we are outta stock" and I don't think any were available for purchase without a pre-order.

180 bucks? Yeah with me planning to get the PS4 during the same time period it's very unlikely I will get the CE.

I would be all over this if it said "limited" edition and they provided  a set number for the edition size.

However most "CE's" are usually made at such high numbers that they tend to drop in value, especially when retailers are just wanting them off the shelves because they take up so much space.

For anyone who collects things, rather it be stamps, statues, art, edition sizes are important for them to actually retain value/gain value, a high edition usually means it won't gain much value, let alone one that has no edition size at all (like many game "CE's").

**the intended use of the faux lock tool set is that of opening the hidden compartment found within the Inquisitor case

OK, if EA pulls a "no PC CE in Europe" I will personally hunt down everyone involved in this.

Also could anyone from Germany tell me whether game boxes are "localized" there, cause I really want this CE and I have realitves in Germany who I could get to get it for me, but I really don't care for German extras.

I think someone just might be confused. They said in a post that they thought Skyhold, bog unicorn, and red hart halla are Origin exclusives for PC Deluxe Edition only, but I find that hard to believe when GameStop's website shows the Deluxe Edition for PS4 (the copy I was researching for my own purchase) comes with those same exact things. So, I don't think it's actually PC exclusive; I think someone just got confused or misread.

Well, this actually help me to decide my console choice. I was on the fence abt xbox one, or ps4, although leaning/planning on Xbox one. Now, however, I think I'm going to be getting the PS4, and the money saved will go towards DAI.

Deluxe Edition it is for me then... but seeing this as an EB Games exclusive like GTAV I doubt I'll pull the trigger for this one. As much as I loved Dragon Age: Origins, Deluxe should suffice. $200 is way too much. With 13% tax, yeah pass....

Because Ebgames is overcharging by $15 (conversion rate would put it at $185).

I'm relieved, it seems that the edition collector is just about stuff out of the game. I'm only interested by game contents. I do not need more. Goodies, maps, tarot cards , etc, do not really interest me, so it's okay. I won't miss much.   :)
