Which would you rather be a part of? And Why? As tempting joining Cerberus sounds I rather be an N7 instead.

I would a Cerberus phantom. Well who doesn't want to be on the team with leather clad space ninjas with swords?

N7 sounds like the place to be imo. Rather be a badass because of my own skill and talent than because of reaper tech being jammed in my skull.

N7. Better training, better equipment.

Cerberus had the potential to surpass them. But they chose to be inefficient, evil dicks instead.

Give N7s Cerberus resources and now you're talking.

I cannot see myself with Cerberus. I view the experiments they did throughout the series as crimes against humanity. The ends don't always justify the means. The experiments they did are horrible.
As an N7 I feel that I would be on a side that wants humans to be strong in the galaxy but not to the point of destroying ourselves in the process.

I'd rather not be implanted with "reaper tech."

That apparently mind-controls me to timmy.

Cerberus killed my bro Admiral Kahoku. For that, they cannot be forgiven.

Yes, let's make the NSA's job easier by publicly confessing to being a terrorist sympathizer.

I'd be Cerberus, with a prior service as an N7 operative. Like Shepard.

Cerberus I think has the capability to be on par with N7. Hell, a Somali insurgent is on par with a Delta Operative if he can shoot straight enough. You're still only human. A bullet to the brain kills you no matter who you are.

Still, Cerberus is where I'd fit in best any day of the week. I'm very much an end justifies the means kind of guy.

I laugh at you heartily. Can you make an argument supporting the moral imperative that stands up to practical considerations?

I don't agree with Cerberus goals/methods, I'd rather not be implanted with "reaper tech" either...and I don't think Cerberus approves of an asari bondmate ;)

-> N7

I don't think Cerberus would care if you're married to an Asari. Despite their reputation, I don't think I've ever seen any kind of racism, overt or subtle, from anyone in Cerberus other than Kai Leng (or a Shepard)

true, there are racists within Cerberus that is to be accepted. So does all factions.  Racism is not a Cerberus only deal.

Reaper Tech implants is a deal-breaker.  I like Lazarus cell Cerberus, and I'd rather serve under Shepard/Miranda (assuming Shep's the type to rescue me if, hypothetically, we were all to be kidnapped), Petrovsky's OK, but I'm iffy on him.  Otherwise N7 has the advantage.  I don't get the sense that they are as special as the STG or Asari Commandos, they certainly don't have the same reputation, but they are respected, get good gear, and can operate legally and openly.  It would be nice not to be considered a terrorist by most of the galaxy.

Also, there is less likelihood of my current project going horribly wrong and killing all my coworkers in N7.

Bingo.

And as much as I dislike Brooks, I too prefer the whispers in my head to be my own.

So yeah, N7 for me.

If it was the Cerberus before they were turned into a cheap knockoff of the Galactic Empire, who lolindoctrinated their staff, then quite possibly them. Otherwise, I'll go with N7.

I saw far more racism and blatant ignorance within the ranks of the alliance than I ever did among Cerberus.

My Shepard hated Cerberus. They were the ones behind the slaughter of his squad on Akuze. It was personal for him. So when he woke up after the Lazarus Project, he felt trapped - forced to work for them as a necessary evil. He never trusted TIM - which was reinforced multiple times throughout ME2 by TIMs actions, and was fully expecting to be betrayed by TIM eventually if he didn't betray TIM first (which he did). He also never really trusted the majority of the ME2 squad mates with the exception of Tali, Garrus, Joker/Chakwas (if they count), Mordin and Samara. And he didn't fully trust Grunt, Kasumi, Thane, Miranda, and Jacob but would reluctantly work with them. But Jack, Zaeed, and Legion? No effing way.

He still banged Miranda though. Because I mean, come ON- how could you not?

So Alliance all the way for me.

that is why i have issues with some turians and one of the reasons, I am not so much of an alliance fan is the red tape. I hate red tape.
