If Asari didn't lose shields every time they dodged I'd put it up there as pretty cool ... as is ... no. I like the ACA's little flights (aesthetic, not practical reasons). Also the Geth & Quarian dodges.
They lose sheilds but also stun nearby enemies which can be handy in a pinch. I like the combat roll because it looks good.

The Fury dodge annoys me when I accidentally jump through a wall right into a Phantom shanking or similar ... but I love the heavy melee teleport as it's not something you'll do by mistake. Handy on Dagger for jumping between sections at the back of the map without having to go through the quadrant of death, or Vancouver for avoiding the ladder of get-stuck-and-shot-to-death, or Ghost (ladders and ledges)... or in fact on most maps there's some utility to it.
For the dodges I like the Vorcha, Volus (comedy value), Shadow and AIU ... actually I don't really enjoy playing the AIU except for just flipping backwards and forwards.

Based on gut feeling when using them rather than scientific testing. In order of preference
Hoppers: Best. Left dodge seems to be faster in recovery than right dodge. Small movement and fast recovery allowing for good control
Vorcha: Comparable to hoppers but restricted to vorcha. Left dodge seems to be faster than right dodge. Best cover due to low height when spamming dodge from medigel.
Teleporters: Very good tactical movement. Cannot spam dodge from medigel (too bad), Compensated by forward heavy melee but lack of direction control may be an issue. May be blocked at certain locations requiring slight movement from current position.
Cartwheelers: Slightly slower recovery than hoppers. May also have a larger exposed area/hit box when dodging (untested)
Asari: Lack of direction control when spamming dodge from medigel. Uses barriers
Combat rollers: Default angled to face the floor when spamming dodge from medigel unless adjusted upwards by mouse. Can be problematic in escaping sync killers and end up rolling in a circular pattern. Relatively slow
Flyers: Poor control due to dodge movement being large. Execution and recovery also slower due to the same reason.
Volus combat roll: Comedic effect only otherwise useless.

Too easy. Asari.
Teleporting is nice but it feels cheap and the novelty wears off after a while.

Drell.
We have awesome dodge but we don't need it.
We simply walk sideways.
Gracefully.
