Well, yes, but is it just wandering Hawke, Hawke the Viscount, or Hawke the Princess? ![]()

Don't you have to be both? Sebastian implied he'd only marry a Viscountess.Well, yes, but is it just wandering Hawke, Hawke the Viscount, or Hawke the Princess?

Yes, you're right, I forgot about that.
Was planning to side with the Templars anyway, and it makes more sense since you know who has to be executed or Seb runs off in a huff.

Sebastian and Hawke only marries on the friendship path. And this is confirmed in the Legacy DLC to happen.

True. Though on the rival path there is the promise of marriage if Hawke secures the Viscount's seat. I assume the OP is assuming that this marriage would have taken place between Hawke siding with the Templars and Cassandra's interrogation of Varric.
On the topic of princess of Starkhaven, while I usually only play a male character and thus don't romance Sebastian, I couldn't help but notice the unsolicited flirting he did with Bethany. I can't help but wonder if there's something lined up for her.

Gaider, i beleive, mentioned that if he was ever going to write a new book on Dragon Age he would have liked for it to be about Bethany and Sebastian adventuring in Starkhaven.
EDIT:
There we go.

No problemo. I always liked the Sebethany couple myself, even though I really wanted to romance Beth with a new PC myself.

Thanks for posting that! Yeah, Seb's kind of a jerk either way you go with him, if you ask me. Spineless altar boy or lecherous full-of-himself Prince.
But in the game I plan, my character will be a Blood Mage using Spirit Healer spells as a cover, so Bethany won't get a chance with him. ![]()

A jerk? He marries Hawke and automatically adopts Carver as a brother; he places Wesley's name on the Chantry memorial; he invites Fenris to train elven guardsmen in Starkhaven; he will even try to find some common ground with a Dalish in the matter of religion.
Preachy, I could see how he could be considered such. But a jerk?

I generally give him a pass in the ending, his character is pretty inconsistent then. But even then I can't blame him for overreacting.

I suppose if you really believe all the Chantry hypocrisy and that he does all this out of the goodness of his heart, no, you would not consider him a jerk.

He married rivalmanced Hawke
If romanced Hawke is missing, he's concerned, if not actively searching for her
Friendship/rivalry will at least affect how he rules Starkhaven, if he retakes it no matter what
Fenris is the royal quartermaster (or whomever is responsible for training recruits) in Starkhaven

Yes, it's a part of his chararacter arc. Seeking revenge, contemplating what good it did and then plummet back into it because of a horrific event.
I personally feel it's a very compelling theme, everyone has wanted revenge or justice served on their behalf at some point, and for some people it blinds them towards the consequences.

To be honest i wouldn't have problem with his revenge but his self-righteousness toward others how they should forgive and other stuff well lets say that reminds me morrigan dialuge with leliana.
- Morrigan: So I see you are quite the little deceiver, after all."
- Leliana: Finally decided to gloat, have you?"
- Morrigan: It simply suits my view of the Chantry that one of their devoted sisters should turn out to be so full of hypocrisy.
- Leliana: There are good people in the Chantry. Many good people who are just there to help others.
- Morrigan: And apparently at least a few who are simply pretending to be good.
- Leliana: At least I was trying to be better than I was. At least I regretted the evil I'd done. Better that than be someone who's never loved anyone or anything, least of all herself. Anything but that.
- Morrigan: It seem that at least you got the self-righteousness down pat. Well done.

- *snip*
I don't really have a problem with it, everyone has different beleifs and you can be self-righteous without religion.
I suppose it's a matter of taste, and no one in the party ever really told him to shut it. Except maybe Carver and Aveline I think, they did so MotA.

Of course but not everyone is hypocrite about as he is... (cleary guy is pretending to be nice guy) well for example varric when he was telling him to forgive his brother.

You've never met any of those holier-than-thou religious people who do good things just so they can feel superior?
