I also find sniping incredibly dull so I only use shotguns and pistols on infiltrator

Pull Field + Unstable Warp folks...
Good way to lay out an entire mob of Husks in ME2. Pull Field alone is awesome CC.
Once a husk is ragdolled it is dead. There is no need for warp bombs. You are just wasting a cool down.
The single easiest way to deal with husks on veteran difficulty or lower is to lay down a wide singularity on a choke point. Any husk that enters the field dies. Singularity becomes a fire and forget power.
Short of that, any wide area physics power will eliminate lots of unprotected husks. At veteran difficulty or lower Thane and Samara with Throw Field are your best bet. At hardcore or insanity you will need to strip first, so Mordin and Samara beomce the best squad with Incineration Blast and Area Reave.

Could have sworn I've seen live Husks after being lifted. Oh well. Only bothered trying to combo them off on the Collector Ship for obvious reasons.

They will show up as alive while they are floating, but for all practical purposes they are dead. Once the Pull/Singularity wears off (or they are thrown out of a Singularity) then they die. Don't let the health bar fool you.

Doesnt having the Health Bar active mean that combos will work, which means more damage can be done to the rest of the group not already dead?

True, but it would depend on how you have the warp specced and how far apart the targets are on whether it would be better to warp bomb or simply Throw/Pull a different set of targets.

For active comboing, Unstable Warp really is the only choice. Widest range for the bomb blast to cover. if you are using it as a stripper tool, then Heavy is better.

For my squadmates I always go Unstable Warp since it has a 9 second cool down instead of 12 seconds. For Shepard I go Heavy with the Adept since I only use Warp to strip. Mostly Shepard does the lifting with Singularity or Pull while the squad does the booming. Thane and Miri are my favorite combo for an Adept Shepard.

I'm rolling Sent right now. So I'm the one that has to set off the booms, not that I need to very often and I do bring backup for when the game borks the shot for no reason.

Last time I played Sentinel in ME2 was on insanity and found all I was ever doing was resetting my tech armor. I hardly ever got to cast at all. When I played on Veteran I had a problem with combos because the Warp projectile is so slow. I would order Jacob or Jack to Pull while also sending out a Warp. Problem was, by the time the Warp arrived the target had already been pulled away from the group I was hoping to boom. Sending a Warp down field and then trying to order a Pull was problematic because the target of the Warp might no longer be targetable for a Pull. I found combos with my Sentinel hard to pull off.
Added: I noticed they slowed down how fast Pulled targets move in ME3, probably to fix the problem I was having.

Thats mostly my issues as well. though I get to cast more because I dont bother with insanity.

You have more luck of surviving from a horde if you play Sentinel. Tech Armor will detonate sending them to the floor!
This, plus Throw and conveniently placed explosive tanks is why I like fighting husks. Throw makes them bounce when they hit walls or the ground. ![]()
