Granted. But as I do quote like it, I would like the blank stare to remain an option.

Thw developers should not assume that everyone perceives the blank stare as a suboptimal response. The blank stare is exactly what I want most of the time. Even IRL, the blank stare is a powerful tool because it doesn't convey anything.

Well, now that I've started whining in this thread, I'd like more staring options. What about a pissed off stare? An eyebrow-raised stare? A slight-smirk stare? A disgusted stare. A sleepy caffeine-withdrawal stare. A creepy pervert stare for romance scenes.

And finally, Shepard's illustrious constipated look:

Half-joking. I agree that stares are powerful, they can be interpreted in many ways. The more options, the merrier, just give the players choice and we're happy (most of us).

David has stated before that they'll always have "no response" or "stioc" on the reaction wheel, just in case you didn't know.

I don't think it'd work as well in DA:I as it did in ME3. In ME3, we got two games to see Shep as the ultimate badass, so when when the Reaper War and deaths start taking there toll on him, we see it for what it is.

If the Inquisitor starts angsting from the get go, then he's going to come across as more of a whiner.

Personally, I'd like it if they did what they did with Hawke. A super badass generally, but certain moments we see a more human side to them.
