I think it could be much worse than that. If I were you, I'd kill someone in the Escort mission while only escorting Chakwas (if I have to choose between a potentially dangerous squadmate and an old doctor...I'd go for the doc).
Also, killing Samara and keeping Morinth post-suicide mission is simply a must. She never is found in ME3, except at the end, where she's not as friendly as she used to be
As the second squadmate to be saved in ME2, I'd go for Jack, and then never do the Grissom Academy quest. She later suffers a similar fate than Morinth's.
That's my ideal doomsday playthought, IMO...

Have you done a playthrough like this?
That's my goal. Normally, I would have included all the Renegade choices that Shepard makes, but I decided to focus on the squadmates and Normandy crew this time.
I used to have Zaeed die on his loyalty mission, but after finding out that he doesn't ever appear on the memorial wall, I decided to leave him behind in the incinerated Collector Base. I assume he'd find some way to survive his loyalty mission explosion but not the suicide mission (that is, unless he's still floating around in the galactic core vowing revenge on Shepard).

Wow Ecael, its been so long since I've seen you post, welcome back! As for killing all characters, I haven't tried this myself, as it is pretty grim, but I always enjoyed reading through your guides.

I just finished the trilogy for the first time, and most of the way through I had the thought of doing a "worst possible" run, making the worst decisions and getting everyone killed, but now I don't think I'd have the heart for it. I don't even think I could stomach seeing someone else do it.

Have you really seen Zaeed's scene until the end? Nobody can survive an explosion like that ![]()
He's dead, I assure you.

Shepard survived something similar...

I'm only here for a short time, however! It seems that the forum doesn't move anywhere near as fast as it used to (especially when the Character forum existed).

I don't mind the squadmates dying, but if space hamster was to die. my world would crumble around me. He's what keeps me going. ![]()

He's the reason I stomp the clone's fingers.

However, I have yet to figure out whether it is possible to obtain the low EMS Destroy ending while completing all the main, side, and DLC missions in Mass Effect 3.
I did some work on this once. IIRC the minimum possible EMS with all DLCs and all actual missions completed (i.e., no scanning or fetch quests) is something like 1900. However, I believe getting that low would require Tali dying in ME2 and Wrex living until ME3 -- you want to get caught sabotaging the genophage, and you can screw up the quarian WA points more thanks to the Koris mission. But you're well under 2200 anyway.

Shepard survived something similar...
So after the Normandy's explosion, he was in a state decent enough to go back into action (or even merely survive), without the need of Project Lazarus, right?

Does that assume siding with the Quarians? I intended on siding with the Geth because the Destroy ending eliminates them.

I think the reason Zaeed does not make it onto the wall if you abandon him is because he's not someone you want to remember!

Yes. The advantage of siding with the quarians is that you can hurt their WA points by rescuing Koris' crew instead of him, and doing the Geth Fighter Squadron mission doesn't net you points for the Primes. But I believe there are few enough points to get away with siding with the geth.
