So, are you really saying that the uber edition for PC I can order from gamestop (italy) contains the standard edition of the game and not the deluxe one???

In game contents released for all the other platforms are not included in a collector's that costs all that money?? What the hell??

This could be because the deluxe edition is Amazon exclusive...

But I would really like to hear why there is no collector's edition and deluxe edition for PC for the rest of Europe...

Yeah, I mean, are they scared to make too much money??

Or are they forcing who wants a deluxe physical edition to buy the digital one and the standard physical one?

Come on....

I'd wait a bit, there's a high probability that the various vendors simply haven't properly set up their offers yet.

The deluxe edition isn't Amazon exclusive, I have my Gamestop preorder receipt right here that pretty bluntly says "deluxe."

Its because the Distributors are not offering the Deluxe Editions to the sellers.

Well i wish i could order the ****** game for one thing, gamestop UK doesn't have the PC collectors edition available yet! All that has been said is one random tweet by Aryyn Flynn saying "we'll get i there" or something to that effect. I don't usually complain about things like this but bioware's handling of EU PC fans has been to just ignore us over the past couple of days, and not really let us know whats actually happening with the PC version in Europe.

All i want to do is give you my £130 is that so bad?

That's what I suspect too.

In Germany it says "exclusive at Amazon" and it costs 80 Euros... which is a very hefty price for a game. And it is only available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4... No PC Deluxe Edition.

This really getting strange.

Deluxe =/= Collector's

The PC deluxe edition is easy to get, buy it from Origin. It's the exact same, just no DVD and cheap plastic case.

As for the collector's edition, wait for the vendors to sort through their organization. The likelyhood that Europe as one of the biggest markets for videogames doesn't get the collector's edition is near zero.

After they pulled the plug on regionalizing half the Mass Effect 2 DLCs for Eastern Europe*, I wasn't surprised most of the retail stores here said they will only get the PC standard edition. So there goes your zero chance.

Eastern Europe, definig the odds since the fall of the Roman Empire!

Edit:  * disclaimer: The DLCs won't install with the Eastern European edition, that's not just a minor inconvinience of not playing it in Czech/Polish/Hungarian. You can't even play the game with English subs unless you tweak it and get the English text files.

@Aotearas

Lol, i am chilled, and am patient, what i'm doing here is voicing my opinion of what i have experience over the past few days, i know the collectors edition was only put out there yesterday, but the PC collectors edition is strangely absent from the UK and most of EU, without reason given or any word on if bioware is actually looking into it properly. In my opinion it is not cool to seemingly ignore the PC fans in EU (emphasis here on seemingly, they probably aren't ignoring us and i understand that it takes time to get answers) But the only way to get answers is to voice your concerns. Do you disagree with what i'm saying?

Well actually the Collector's edition seems to be available on PC on the Italian Gamestop site: http://www.gamestop....age+inquisition

The black button allows you to build up a bundle with the STANDARD edition of the game and the Collector's goodies; this means that you get all the physical bonuses of the CE plus the standard edition of the game.

If you check on the other platforms edition(as well as the Darrah's tweet abou it), the bundle is made by the Collector's goodies and the DELUXE edition of the game.

But since there's no Deluxe edition of the game for PC(W..............T......................F?????), the Collector's for PC has less contents than the other platforms ones.....it just seems absurd to me...

Sorry, I was mostly thinking western and central europe when I said that. I do remember the ME2 bongoloha with the DLC, no good show. Should have clarified that, my mistake.

I do not disagree with what you are saying. I do not agree either, at least at this early stage.

I do however disagree with how you say it.

All that besides, I didn't have anything to do so I just took a bus to the city (Bonn, Germany) and asked my local Gamestop about the DAI Collector's Edition for PC. They do currently not offer a PC version, but the clerk told me that is most likely not the end of how things will stand and that I should just check back later.

As far as I understand the distribution situation, those CEs are being delivered on demand instead of having a certain production volume and most vendors take some time setting up proper distribution channels for that as opposed to simply reserving themselves a portion of the available production.

Thats fair enough, i don't think there is anything wrong with a few expletives and some harsh criticism when i see something i disagree with, i may have came across harshly but again thats not always a bad thing, and nobody should have been offended by my stance, which from my POV is perfectly a perfectly reasonable one to take. Having said that i'm glad you feel you can still express yourself and have an opinion of your own and not be too offensive in how you convey it.

As for the state of things. Italy seems have have access to the PC collectors edition on gamestop.it. But it is still strangely absent everywhere else in EU as far as i can tell, i haven't heard back as to why this is the case, i just think it's not a very good customer services frankly from either bioware or gamestop if they exclusivity on the collectors edition, keeping the majority of the european market in the dark about what is happening isn't the best way to win hearts.

Well actually I'd rather not have it available.

Sinc the Darrah's tweet stated clearly that the CE had all the contents of the deluxe edition, think about those Italians who preordered the CE just to discover that it doesn't include digital deluxe bonuses.

This CE was supposed to be the one the PC users could buy since there was no deluxe edition available, but as it is now I think it's a nonsense.

Sure, preordered can be cancelled, but why don't just release a PC deluxe edition? I would have already bought it and many as me.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a fullfletched collectors edition for the PC here in Europe. I've been saving up for quite some time in order to get the CE, so it would be a shame if I don't get to spend it...

What?

How does "CE has all the deluxe edition content" translate into "does not include deluxe edition boni"!?

And besides, there IS a PC deluxe edition. The Origin store has it. It has the EXACT same content as any retail deluxe edition, just that it's digital opposed to being on a disc. And you can bet your ass that all that bonus content is download only anyway.

Nope, Darrah's tweet stated that the CE, which is obviously a physical edition, will have included all the deluxe edition bonuses, which are in game bonus contents.

Now, this is true when you set up a bundle with a deluxe edition AND the CE physical items.
CE is not a single buy, it's something you have to add to a copy of the game, as you can see from gamestop site.
But, since PC has no a deluxe edition, the PC version of the CE can be bundled only with a standard edition of the game, which DOES NOT include the deluxe edition bonuses.

Of course, I'm talking about physical edition of the game: since the deluxe digital download edition was announced, many PC players asked for a disc version of it and the answer was that we had to wait for the uber version, which would have been released for PC as well and it was of course a physical edition.

Nor CE is announced, but if you want to buy it for PC you have to forget all the deluxe edition bonuses, since there's no way to have such a bundle, which is possible for all the other platforms versions.

His point is pretty clear and it's the main reason why I have not preordered the Inquisitor Edition yet from GameStop here in Italy.

First of all it burns to be able to buy it only there.. I've bought from those thieves only a few years ago and had all sorts of troubles with my online order of the ME2 CE for PC.

I am just, not so patiently, waiting, before going to my closest GameStop and place my order, since they need to sort this out, cause even if the Deluxe Edition has only digital bonuses, why is there a phisical version for EVERY console platform but PC?

The only other reliable online store in Italy for videogames, besides Amazon, is Multiplayer.com, which doesn't has listed any Deluxe Edition, it just offers the Flames of Inquisition DLC as a preorder bonus:

Cheers!

Last time I checked, the CE includes the CE physical goodies, all DE bonus content and the game.

Care to give a link where it shows you have to purchase the game in addition to the CE to get everything?

edit://

Nevermind, apparently the italian Gamestop is doing it's own thing and selling the CE without the game. That is indeed strange when literally everywhere else I looked they do it normally, ie the CE comes with the game and everything.

That is however Gamestop's doing, not BioWare or EA.

This is my first post on this site but I just wanted to say that the same thing is happening here in Australia.

No physical copy of deluxe edition for PC and the collectors edition states that it comes with a standard copy of the game for PC but deluxe for Xbox one and PS4.

That is weird. When I checked the german Gamestop it clearly shows the CE with base game and all goodies complete for 170 bucks current-gen consoles (no PC edition yet).

Same with the british vendor I had looked.

Why would they sell a videogame's collector's edition ... without the game?

Because there is no physical release of the Deluxe Edition for PC in Europe and apparently Australia. Which may actually be connected to why there is no Collector's Edition for PC. The other four platforms all have Deluxe Editions and Collector's Editions avaiable. Now Gamestop Italy apparently bundles CE physical goods with the only physical copy of the game that is available in Europe: the Regular Edition. Which obviously does not include the Deluxe Edition DLCs. (Because then it woild be a Deluxe Edition, right? XD)
