I recently reinstalled my computer with Windows 7 and since then my DLC Stone prisoner, wardens keep, dealish promise ring and memory band only work if i'm not locked in to the server. i i can see a CD key in the settings under game so thats not the problem.

also: what the hell? shouldn't it be the other way around? shouldn't i have access to my stuff especially when i'm logged in to the server?

this also keeps me form completely deinstalling and reinstalling the game since i apparently can't be shure that i will be able to reinstall the game at all.

if it helps to find the issue: i preordered the game via direct to drive uk.

i forgot: i own the digital deluxe edition so i never bought the contend separately.

When you're logged in the game tries to connect to the server to verify what content you own. But it can't do that if the Dragon Age Origins Content Updater service isn't running. Try manually starting it before you start the game and see if that helps.


1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER
2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.
3.) Right click it and select START

If the service doesn't start or is missing there is more troubleshooting information in section 3 of the Redeemed DLC Troubleshooting FAQ

There is also a beta fix available that might help resolve issues.
