In ME1, biotics were vastly superior to tech. In ME2 both sucked equally and were complete garbage on the hardest difficulty for lorebreaking reasons (ie anything with shields or armor were magically immune to both tech and biotics because magic). In ME3 multiplayer, tech has a slight advantage because tech is more generally useful whereas biotics are still overly situational as for some strange reason both biotics and tech still don't work for the same lorebreaking magic reasons they didn't work in ME2.

I agree with you completely. It is rather silly. It was much worse in ME2 though.
