Honestly. As an inquisitor, we should always look fashionable and stylish. I should hope Vivienne is around to provide us details on what is in season in the orlesian courts and if our armor suits our body type.

Vivienne might have style at court and in the circle, but I doubts she really knows how it feels to be in the field and fighting things in real life.

I have a feeling she's far more battle ready than we think she is. She just prefers not to get her custom designed drake scale heels dirty.

Vivienne can afford to be fabulous. She's a mage, so she doesn't need to be nearly as physical or move around as much during a fight. 

 

Anyway, I would welcome advice, comments, or even harsh critiques from her regarding the fashion choices of the other companions. Comments on the Inquisitor's ensemble could be tricky unless they are generalized statements due to the supposed variety of armor/clothing available to the Inquisitor.

Based on what they've said, it is highly unlikely that you'd be able to get her into an enormous steel cuirass.  If you do, it will most likely magically transform into a fabulous silk and diamond gown, perhaps with tiny shoulder pauldrons or something.
