In my dreams the Darkspawn wear top-hats, monocles, have twirly moustaches and address people with "fine sir" or "good day."

These are the Darkspawn that the other Darkspawn are afraid of.

The only thing that creeped me out about normal Darkspawn was that deep, guttural laugh they did sometimes. >______> The Children/Mother gave me the heebyjeebies, too. I hope they bring back overwhelm/grab attacks in DAI. That helped make Ogres and Children more threatening, imo. DA2's ogres were a joke.

I was never disturbed by any of the Darkspawn until I walked up to that Broodmother in DA:O. Bleurgh

I can say this for a certainty, NOT the darkspawn from DA2, they look ridicolous.

 

The terrifying ones are Hurlock from DAO, but it is better to bring back the original design from DAO of all darkspawn.

None of those 3 give me nightmares, but of the 3, Hurlock is worst of the 3.  Bloodmother however give me nightmares.

In the first game, Ogre's terrified me. Then they looked like gorillas in the second game, so it was fine.  

 

 

Darkspawn aren't all too scary, actually. The Broodmothers were tragic, but not "gives me nightmares" kinda character.

This is on Facebook. They'd have to censor the image if they wanted to post a Broodmother without being reported.

Personally though, I found both equally disturbing. BioWare should make horror games lol
