I do like the idea of managing a group of survivors in a post apocalyptic setting organized in a Bioware style. Unfortunately post apocalyptic settings are getting a bit tired these days, but perhaps if it was about the protagonist leading a settlement and trying to restart civilization it could be interesting. Just wandering the wastes trying to survive is a bit overplayed.

There is nothing I hate more than post-apocalyptic settings, unless we're talking about zombie-filled post-apocalyptic settings.

No word, though rumor has it the words "Space Nuns" were thrown around, which I personally find a bit disappointing.

When I hear Space Nuns I think Bene Gesserit.

Warhammer 40k rpg..

They don't do other peoples IPs. And Games Workshop has a rep of being really protective of it's IP.

Absolutely time-travel. But I don't want it until Bioware or another RPG studio can fully deliver my expectations of being able to alter and change the world and time periods based on time travel. If I change something in the past, it should alter the future in unpredictable ways. Basically, a modern, AAA westernRPG version of Chronotrigger.

It has so much potential for great consequences, divergence and reactivity, but my guess is, it will never happen because it will be too expensive and demanding to meet the kind of standards I have in my imagination.

Yeah, I think reactivity is a problem already WITHOUT bringing time travel into the mix.

I don't know, the walking dead game still grips me. Though I guess that's because they make the smart decision to spend all their time on the human conflicts, not the zombies.

Ancient Mythological setting. You're working for gods or not and there is mythical creatures and superpowers in the world.

Well excluding Chinese mythology!

TWD's human conflicts don't interest me. I get the whole blah blah, powerlessness, blah blah, cost of survival. It just has zero appeal.

I'd like a party-based mech combat RPG someday. Spiritual successor to Shattered Steel maybe?

Espionage would be interesting to see, especially if the Imperial Agent from SWtoR is any indication.

Also something pirate themed, or anything with that time in history. We don't get enough of those types of games.

Historical docu-drama game: early america/colonial/civil war eras, civil rights movement, Castro District, Space race, any number of interesting and memorable events and settings across the globe. Bioware can startle a generation of teachers by sneaking brats knowledge.

Prehistoric, either grounded in reality or classic fantasy style. I think a story following the Human journey would be great, especially getting to see the other Humans who used to be around and what their legacy is today. These entire races of people who just died out, theres an incredible story to be made there.

Spy-thriller/espionage, because while there is Mass Effect, the Specters were wasted potential in the sequels. And a Bioware made Alpha Protocol would be hilarious and cool.

An Indiana Jones/ Lost World adventure. Because I can only fight so many dumb clone enemies in Uncharted before I start off on a gritty noir monolog. Speaking of which...

Noir/Crime Drama/Some flavor of Hitchcock or Big Sleep.

Adapt a book or play, there are so many to choose from.

Western. I would love to see a western in which you could choose if you play as a sheriff (or a deputy under the sheriff), an indian (North American Native), a zorro like character, a criminal a la billy the kid,

A detective story, but broken into small, independent segments, could be ok too.

I want a game where you are a bad*** that has very large guns that can blow planets up and you basically get set loose in a galaxy and can do whatever your heart desires.

A setting that hasn't been done an awful lot. Closest we have from BioWare on that would be Jade Empire. Maybe shattered steel.

Won't happen at this rate, but I wish they would.

Modern day setting akin to something like Ragnar Tørnquists Secret World or Longest Journey, where it implements traces of magical realism, potentially horror and/or science-fiction. Feudal Japan, although that might be a bit similar to that of Jade Empire but nevertheless.

I would not mind seeing Bioware tackle a game a game with a Steam punk setting.

They could also try an open world game like GTA, Red Dead a Redemption or Assassins Creed 4.

More than anything I would like to see and handful of Bioware staff take a crack at a indie style game like Ubisoft did with 'Child of Light'. I would love to see what they could come up without 100's of employees working on a single project or $1,000,000.00+ budget. Show us how creative you can be on a tight budget.

My Little Pony setting.  :P

Don't encourage them.

You do realize though BW would probably sell BUY SOME APPLES of copies?

They've done the Sonic setting before, cartoonish games could happen.

Not gonna lie, I'd pre-order an MLP game made by BioWare. That topic was pinned for a long time, they know their stuff.

There is nothing I hate more than post-apocalyptic settings, unless we're talking about zombie-filled post-apocalyptic settings.

I personally avoid em', they don't seem to do anything for me(outside of cases like The Last of us). Not sure if BioWare would touch it. Maybe.

Oh don't worry about that.

Hello Kitty is going to take over the world long before MLP becomes a threat.

MLP fanbase is just significantly more vocal on the internet about it.
