As much as I would love the Inquisitor's Edition, just the Deluxe Edition as a hard copy would be great. Why you gotta be an arse about this, EB?

Damn. Glad I saw this before I pre-ordered because I was seriously consdiering it. There's no point spending $200+ on the Inquisitor's Edition if it doesn't come with everything that it ought to. But then again, I'm not surprised EB are being douches about this. It's a shame that it's the only place you can get it in Oz. Why they had to go with one of the worst game stores around is beyond me.

Not pre-ordering through Origin either, not after the last time I pre-ordered something with them. It's a year after release and yet the my library still says "not yet released". Customer support just tells me to close every non-windows process in task manager and re-start Origin, which of course fixes nothing.
Guess it's standard edition for me

I just kept ringing and asking because I was so angry at the thought we couldn't get the deluxe edition because they couldn't be bothered... well at least we all know... Guess its upto EA now...
Side note... apparantly they are now saying its because the Publisher (which would be EA) have decided not to do the Deluxe Edition in a physical form in ceratin places... I guess Bioware needs to chase this up.

I don't know why they didn't go with JB HI FI TBH. They are much easier to deal with, and often cheaper too.

Its B.S I know, but all we can do at this point is hope something is sorted out soon. I mean this really is a joke, with what we are expected to pay there should be AU/NZ only content.

This went from an instant preorder to nothing in a few seconds for me not paying over 200 dollars and getting less than console players, total bs.

I would lean more towards blaming EA, trying to push digital copies for pc rather than disc copies.
No surprise Australia gets screwed again though.

yeah Zeds cool...Seriously Bioware I think need to talk to EA about this and get it sorted... It really is terrible when the Game Devs talk about how they want the Inquisitors Edition to be X and yet its not... the Inquisitors Edition should be the difinitive edition

I'm actually pretty legit pissed off about this. This was just one of THOSE editions that I REALLY wanted to get my hands on and now I'm just really conflicted.

no, its legal... EB explitily states that the PC Inquisitors edition comes with the standard edition not a deluxe edition... so its not false advertising.

I don't remember who said it, but I think they said the Digital Deluxe Edition was only available via Origin (for... whatever reasons?) for PC anyway.
I'm going to contact someone from EA live and find out if we can simply upgrade the standard edition to digital deluxe edition when the game comes out.
I personally don't see why we shouldn't be able to. You can still upgrade to the digital deluxe edition of ME3 on Origin after all, and that game has been out for nearly 2 years.
EDIT: I don't know why, but I always feel like I'm talking to a chat bot whenever I contact EA live. They have NO information whatsoever and I'd personally love Bioware to clarify or rip someone up for this. It really isn't fair. :/
In the mean time, I'm cancelling my digital deluxe edition preorder over Origin and I'm going to preorder the Inquisitor's Edition from my local EB games. I'm hopeful they will still include the option to upgrade a Standard eidition to the Digital Deluxe Edition and if not, well, Digital Deluxe isn't going anywhere for a while.
