I wonder if perhaps when we recruit people who already have organizations of their own (cassandras and iron bull come to mind), any of their posse will be seen walking around? Some tal vashoth in the mess hall would be a great addition.

There is a castle building mechanic, as I understand. I would imagine NPC's would be needed. I'd like to be able to build up my castle like in Neverwinter Nights, with a gambler's den, an arcane tower, and such. That would be fun.

we can send the inquisition out, yes, but for individual cells of the inquisition we do not know

We don't even know if we'll be sending them out to do missions specific for them, like in Assassins Creed or if we can actually send them out to do things that we would have otherwise done ourselves.

I have to wonder if we're all just speculating on features that will actually exist, or if we're getting excited about features that will not exist? Do we have any articles or statements that imply this NPC collecting aspect of the game?

I have found that if you wish bring people into a certain spot it help to have a big sign that says "Free Food" or "Potluck  Dinner".

I kinda want to go out and recruit people who we don't know, just so we can get to know new people

So with this video talking about the inquisition being like a character in it's own right, I admit I'm getting slightly more hopeful about this. Clearly having control over your inquisition and what it's like will be a big deal, so it's a bit easier to see us recruiting lots of specific people for our inquisition.
