i just finished my carry over save game in mass effect about 30 minutes ago. about 29 minutes ago i just realized that was probably the last time i am ever going to play mass effect. with ME2 comming out and being the shiznit, im never going to play ME again!!! its actually kindof sad. i never thought i wouldnt play mass effect, but i think i just played it for the last time.
is anybody else distraught over this fact?

I will to built up and set up new profiles so I can start the ME 2 story with the back ground I want. Also, its a good all round game.

Maybe one day I'll play through both (and eventually all 3) in sequence but as far as just doing a play through? Yeah, probably.

When #3 comes out, I'd like to do a super sequencial playthrough. From the start of 1 to the end of 3, all in one go. That would be pretty cool.

oh i like this idea of doing all 3 games in a row. thatd be pretty ridiculous. i wonder if when i get my xbox 1170 megasystem, if ill still have my old school xbox 360 and the ME trilogy. itd be like playing mario brothers now. damn video games are gonna be awesome in 15 years from now.

Just like Baldur's Gate, I will always go all the way through both games. To me, they aren't separate games.

Urgh, man you guys actually have the stamina for 3 games? The first game took me 20 hours with almost all quests done heh. Maybe its just cos I'm packed with schoolwork. =P

Each playthrough takes me 25 hours to get every quest, including the collections. I like the idea of 3 games in a row at 25-30 hours each. Still short by old school RPG standards. (again, big Baldur's Gate fan here; that game was enormous)

If I find out that a decision I made in ME1 really FUBARed things I'll probably run another playthough. But for now, it's been regulated to the back of my game drawer.

I have two level 60's ready. I'm slowly making my way through a third, but it's driving me crazy. All of those side quests get tedious when you try to play so many times in a short span.

Lol I know how you feel. I have to lvl. 60's getting imported to ME2. I tried to make another, but I got tired of doing the same thing so much I just deleted it and decided to make a new "third" on ME2.

In regards to my carry over data, I was done about two weeks ago. But I'll never be completely done with the game. Mass Effect is my new Metal Gear Solid. I'll never be done with either.

I actually just started on my PC. Have one playthrough done on my 360, but I'm picking up the PC version for 2. Figure I could get the story fresh in my head, and ready to import. Hopefully I beat it before, or soon after 2 comes out....I just got done with Eden Prime!

Personally I felt like most of the game was just a grind so I can enjoy the sequel. Dont get me wrong, it was a good game. I finished my carry-over save 3 months ago and I've been waiting ever since. Im a bit of a perfectionist..Im 100% sure I've done everything there is to do in that game with a Paragon Soldier Shepard. lol.
Although I might go back to it for the sake of seeing how the story might change. (ie, me not sacrificing Ashley or killing Wrex, be a renegade)

I just did for the second time but only realised that if I used my only other carrer to beat the game and started a new game using that career, will it disable that carrer form ME2

Yeah it's been said already, once ME3 comes out it'll be good fun to run through them all in sequence.
