Dragon Age: Revolutions is a role play forum where we write our original characters in the setting of Thedas. We love art and we have galleries at the website, but here is a glimpse of the DA things we are doing.

 

 

First up is a selection Dragon Age Character Art that has been commissioned and/or given as a gift for our admin Simon:

 

Furia - Leader of the Revolution

The Rivaini elf consorts with demons and is a blood mage - everything the Chantry fear and hate in mages. And they should fear Furia, he has a vision of Freedom and it does not just involve the magi. He wants to destroy the Chantry and free Thedas from its clutches.

Inara Syldre - Halla Keeper

Inara is Furia's bondmate and is one of the founders of Nueva Libertad, a haven for those fleeing the oppression of the Chantry or the likes of Tevinter; there is freedom here from all those who seek to oppress. There are also Qunari, for this is a place where all religions are welcome.

 

 

 

Ahamten - the fire mage

This elf is a rebel mage who escaped the annulling of Gallows and went on to fight back against the Chantry.

 

 

 

Eva Nequam - Apprentice Magister

Eva is a Tevinter mage who leads a double life. From birth she had served the Old God, Toth and she keeps her religion a secret from the Magisterium who would put her to death if they knew she served two masters.

Gwendolyn Valleau - Grand Cleric of Ferelden

Ferelden's Grand Cleric is a cold and calculating woman who believes the end always justifies the means and has no qualms about stepping over a mountain of corpses as long as it serves to further the Chantry's agenda and the Makers will. Decades of playing the Grand Game have honed her skills and carved her one of its finest players, as such crossing her is a risk many do not want to take.

Eva is cool as hell -- makes me wish there were more magisters in the actual games -- and Gwendolyn in all of her finery knocks my socks off. I'm a sucker for both the color red and elaborate robes.

We have a magister in DA:I! I loved playing Eva, and all my Tevinter charries actually. I should get art of my other magister...

Some of them evoke Renaissance and later portraiture, a  fusion of historical technique with Thedas cultural motiffs. I am impressed, oil painting must have taken ages.

Colwyn Vanard - Seeker of Truth

Colwyn Vanard is counted among the renowned (or perhaps infamous) Seekers of Truth. His devotion and loyalty to the Chantry is second to none.Clad in the white armour of his order, Colwyn brings those who seek to desecrate the Chantry's authority to justice, which is usually, meted out by the point of his blade. He does not suffer rebellious mages to live, least they continue to spoil Thedas with their unholy powers. The Hand of Justice have learned to hate, now he and his fellow Seekers will teach them fear!

Ah crud... thanks for pointing that out! The link was to our fanforum which is under construction. I have edited my sig now.

 

We have a lot of Tevinter stuff going on, so definitely come and take a look (and bring anyone along with). The forum software is the same as this Bioware forum - IPB.
