Everyone! Maybe in the Keep you'll get to choose what armor the Warden wears. Armor of Diligence with the helm called Duty. Seeing him in a far a way battle would be awesome. I wouldn't expect more than that though.

If Shale followed through with her plans to undo her condition (being a golem) it would be interesting to run into her and learn more about that process.
Howe is probably the Warden I want to see again. I just feel there is a lot more to the rest of his story on the road to redeeming his family name.

Any DAO companion we didn't already see in DA2, so: Shale, Sten, Loghain, Oghren, Sigrun or Velanna. I would also love to see Wynne again, but that's not possible .

 

Since we know Leliana, Morrigan and Alistair are all in Inquisition, I'll be annoyed if Zevran dosn't have a cameo as well.

In order or import. Varric>Leliana>Ohgren>Beth>Alistair>Merrill>Zev. The rest would be nice to see but not hugely boshed.

i don't really get the "need" to see everyone from previous games again. I'm hoping for new interesting characters. For most of the characters from previous games, there's no need for them to show up i guess unless for optional sidequests of just to please the fans. 

 

I wouldn't mind seeing them again but it won't bother me one bit if none of the companions/major npc's from previous games show up.

 

just my 2 cents anyways...though Ohgren - isabella  banter would be funny ( and dirty)

All three have unfinished business I'm interested in. However that is due to player choices* mostly and so I will understand if BioWare doesn't cater to them.

*Aveline went on the MotA adventure with Hawke, interesting things were seeded about her family history there. In addition it's an Orlesian based story line. Plus, she's my favorite DA2 character... other than Varric of course.

*Dagna studied with the Circle and I'm intrigued by the possibilities both she and Sandal present just by being.

*Morrigan left Thedas with my Warden and they had the OGB. 'Nuff said.

Actually, for me anyone from previous games will do, I don't mind surprises.

Everyone from Origins who didn't show in 2, everyone from 2...

Mainly hoping we see Sten again since it looks like we may be fighting or allying with certian people, and he always spoke of wars to come.

But seeing most of the chars in some form would be nice.

Only characters whose cameos make sense within the story. 

 

I'm not in favor of having characters appear just for the sake of a trip down memory lane. There should be a convincing reason within the plot for them returning. I thought Alistair's cameo in DA2 was a bit forced for that reason. He's just there for the sake of being there. There is no reason why either drunk Alistair or King Alistair should be in Kirkwall.

My favourite character from Redemption. I actually really like that web series, too. She was a great char, though.

I'd definitely like to see how Nathaniel's fared, but other than that, perhaps no one unless it makes perfect sense. I wouldn't mind seeing Circle Bethany or Warden Carver show up. I definitely do not want to see either the Warden or Hawke.
