because they're the good guys.
Wrong. They're not the good guys.

Lets talk about how many people died for voicing against the Chantry? How many innocent lives had parish due to the fact that they do not want to live their lives under chantries rulings? Apostates are hunted because they wont submit to the Chantry, and apostate sympathizers are executed. Anders is a freedom fighter. The Chantry started the war against the mages, not the other way around. All of the blood is on their hands.

Doesn't matter. The Chantry has blood on their hands for all of the past crimes that they did against the mages. They deserve to burn down, or force those old ladies out and let the mages take control of it, and make it their new home.

the Chantry is not good I agree but it IS needed! the Chantry is the only for lack of a better word School for magic granted they go to far most of the time. and yes that means I also think Templars are necessary if only to PROTECT Mages from themselves but that doesn't mean locking then in a tower.
and as for having blood on there hands so do mages who go ta far!

Explain to me why the Chantry is needed? All they've done was create chaos and wars. They created discriminatory of a class who are different, and spreads fear about them to the public so they can gain their full support of doing what they do in the name of the Maker. They're nothing more than a bunch of bullies. Instead of helping mages they imprison them and create resentments.

Ok lets go on topic, shall we? Now elaborate to me why I (As an anti Chantry and a staunch mage player) should support them after what they've done to the Mages? Can you give me some positive things that they've done? I can only thing of 1 thing, to their credit. Divine Justinia V in Asunder.

The topic is actually asking if we can support it, not why should we support it.

Well, besides the services their allies the Templars do which are protect people from actually dangerous mages and magic-related things as well as protect mages from things like angry mobs:
Chantries deliver practical services to the community, caring for the sick and collecting alms for the poor. The Chantry provides hospitality to travelers and a public network of communications. Should an illiterate commoner need to send word to another town, the Chantry's educated priests write and send the letter for him.

No. How about you get the Right of Annulment invoked instead, mage scum.
