Dragon Age 2:

 

Fenris: Angry, violent, intolerant. Driven by vengeance and rage. Not a good person.

 

Isabela: Allows hundreds to die just so she can keep stealing stuff. Also, a literal pirate.Not a good person.

 

Merrill: Makes deals with demons, willfully, despite being told the dangers. Blood Mage. Gets her clan killed. No remorse for her actions. Not a good person.

 

Anders: Mass murderer. Yup. Not a good person.

 

 

Origins:

 

Zevran: An unrepentant assassin, who loves killing people and then sharing the tale. He's fun and light-hearted, yes, but he also loves murdering people. Not a good person.

 

Morrigan: She's Morrigan. Not a good person.

 

Leliana: She seems genuinely remorseful of her violent and manipulative past, and is attempting to make it right. A good person.

 

Alistair: A boy scout. A good person.

Leliana and Alistair... the two - in my regard - most boring charakters of origin.  What'sit with you guys and your "flawless" charakters? I don'tlike this strict categorisation in "good" and "bad"  like black and white.  I'm more the greyzone-and-anti-hero-type. In reality everyone has his/her flaws, so why not in games too?

My favorie Romance in BG2: Viconia.

                                 in Me:Liara (a bit plain and naive at first but matured well throughout thewhole series... and i wished Morinth would have been possible as well.)

                                 in DA2: Isabella (a bit too rude and lewd at times but a hell lot more interesting than merril)

SO for me add charakters with personality, backbones and less naivety.

Actually all of them are "jerks". 

 

Leliana is pretty much an assassin with a better name, if you played the first game you can see a conversation about killing people, between Zevran and Leliana.

 

Alistair basically is a zealot in some parts of the game, he gives you a lot less disprove points if you kill Conner instead of using the blood magic, and so on. He also gossips about the party members and calls Morrigan a ******, so....

 

I mean they all kill people for a living, there is gonna be trauma there. Even if they can balance it, it is not the same as being a farmer.

Are we really going to sit here and pretend that because they didn't show more than three people in that particular cutscene that there were only three people  in that entire building that we only had entry to one room in?

I was actually hoping to see some speculation on who could be a jerk in DAI, and insteads its involved into a massive argument over Anders and Fenris..shame

It didn't even have doors to other rooms. They weren't inaccessible, they were simply not there. But if I remember rightly, there was a bed on the second floor? Maybe the sisters all share it.

I never said that Ander's actions didn't count as terrorism. I said people should stop calling them that because "terrorism" is a stupid word generally.

But I guess Anders is just the world's biggest ***** and everyone else REALLY liked Elthina and cared greatly about property damage. Hell I guess the other priests that are usually there just went out for the night.

Yea, at that point it's kinda common sense to assume that it's more than 3 people in that giant building

OK, blowing up a building full of defenseless and innocent people is generally not considered a nice thing to do. Doing such would label Anders as a jerk. Especially since he manipulated (some) Hawkes who were (sometimes) his lovers. So, there. Argue why it would be a nice thing to do.

I don't consider any of the people shown in the Chantry as being remotely innocent.

Like, you can SEE inside the building that nine tenths of it is empty space. The height really only accomodates that 100-foot tall statue of Andraste.
