Yea, at that point it's kinda common sense to assume that it's more than 3 people in that giant building

Who needs common sense when you can forgo all logic to support your incredibly crazy opinion on why your husbando was justified in killing innocent people, and how what he did isn't as bad almost everyone else is saying.

Seeing as his actions fit what a terrorist normally does, yeaaaaa

I don't care what terrorist do normally. It's a stupid word to use in all situations, not just this specific one.

So, you aren't denying that Anders is a jerk?

Sure I am.

If anything, he was generous. Elthina got a quick, painless death that she damn well didn't deserve.

Like, you can SEE inside the building that nine tenths of it is empty space. The height really only accomodates that 100-foot tall statue of Andraste.

That's some heavy hyperbole in addition to being flat out wrong, also were the narrow towers were also used to fit the statue in there?

No, I'm sure they were chock full of orphans and puppies.

"Every single person" apparently consisting of Elthina and two templars.

I'll play the world's smallest violin at their memorial service.  :crying:

Lol, really? I'd love to believe that that giant chantry was really empty expect for those three people or that the massive Explosion taking place didn't scatter the chantry's parts all over the city killing even more innocents, but... I mean... common sense? Hello?

Or are you just trolling by now? Some of your Posts suggest so...

You know, it's hard to tell if you're just messing with people or if you're impossibly stubborn. If blowing up people who posed no threat to him after lying to his best friends to get the ingredients for the bomb doesn't convince you Anders is not a very nice guy, then nothing really will.

With that said, g'day.

Nope. Elthina's a criminally negligent cow who, as Meredith's direct superior, is entirely responsible for the deteriorating situation in Kirkwall.

If I had my way, she would've been made to suffer as the people of Kirkwall suffered under her grossly inadequate care.

Lol.

The Chantry poses no threat to Anders, it's only the organisation responsible for creating the system that tore him away from his family, mind-raped his lover and relentlessly hounded him for his entire life, even after he joined the Grey Wardens.

I don't care that Anders lied.

I never said that Ander's actions didn't count as terrorism. I said people should stop calling them that because "terrorism" is a stupid word generally.

If his actions qualify as terrorism, then people are right on calling them terrorism.

Lots of things count as terrorism, including famous acts in history that the vast majority of people today now consider to be morally correct.

Which is why the term is problematic. It prevents people from engaging critically with the issue.

Alright you have an edgy antagonizing answer for everything I guess so here's my next question. Why does Alan bother keeping you in his pocket when the mods that Bioware hired did their job well and permabanned you?

Actually come to think of it, isn't letting a known previously permabanned user post negligence itself?

Because we are secret lovers, obviously.

How the **** should I know? I'm not a mind reader.

I dunno, is it negligence to allow people to continue posting after they commit blatant sexual harassment?

This dude is obviously trolling or impossible to talk to. You guys should just ignore him so the thread can get back on track.

Just my $.02

Elthina neutrality was really problematic, she was at fault yes. There were problems with how Meredith and Orsino rule their groups. She believed that she could be the living Maker and let the mortals play it all, without consequences. As the supreme ruler of both parties, it is irresponsible to let things deteriorate.

Off course this does not mean Anders is a saint, he is a freedom fighter and he did what he believe would force their hand more quickly. Which is something that would happen whatever Anders planted the bomb or not but he is still a criminal just like Elthina, there is no moral ambiguity there.

DA2 was pretty lacking when it came to manfus, the choice between a terrorist emo loser and some bishonen straight out of a JRPG was major suckage.

I don't think there are many people left who want to post in this thread.
