Because in dao, it was fine for me, but in me2, I like both tali and legion and do not want to pick between the two...
Perhaps if I get tali loyal enough, she will be alright with it and understand this is a changed geth.

It's not really known. I've heard conflicting reports that say it's exactly like DA:O, but then I've heard others say it's possible to talk them down.
Personally, I hope we can do the latter. It doesn't make sense that we can make Saren briefly resist Indoctrination, but not have Tali and Legion settle things in a mildly peaceful manner. Shepard's one smooth talker, after all.
