like the title says i think something will show dark necromancy can be how evil, can it be like as it corrupts you similar how you were able to control your companions in jade empire.
Killing companions then bring em back as a Necromancy slave

I could see this possible with NPCs...but because of how the game is, I really don't think it'd be an option in the game.

Considering that slavery has been ruled out by the devs as an option for an Inquisitor, I wouldn't bank on being able to make zombie slaves of your companions. You'll probably be able the raise the corpses of enemies during combat, but not your companions or even most NPCs.

Perhaps if a companion turns on you or decides to leave, necromancers could have a special option to do this?

I hope not. I like my companions to be plot armored similar to the protagonist. I enjoyed the fact that in ME I couldn't just kill off people I did not like or enslave them to do as I wished. They felt like real people. I know that sounds crazy, but they did. It was the best part of the franchise. I could not just bully them into doing as I wished.

There was a choice to kill Samara and replace her with a better squadmate though.

I find it strange that it's perfectly okay to murder everyone in our midst (and screw the self defense argument, our PCs had many opportunities to kill people in cold blood) while torture and slavery are a big no no.

There is no way this is happening. In Dragon Age, most necromancy is summoning a demon into a corpse. Bioware is not going to write demon possessed corpse content for the companions. In Mass Effect 2, Morinth had virtually the same exactly content as Samara.

YMMV.
Well the only problems I personally had was:
1) Morinth had to go through a stupid disguise for some reason.
2) Bioware decided to kill her off in ME3.
Very disappointing.
Other than that, best squadmate I ever had. No regrets.

True enough, though I never pursued such an option.
It's so foul. It hit a nerve with me irl. I cannot comprehend how someone stabs a sworn ally in the back like that. Seriously makes me upset, to say the least.

Honestly this kind of mechanic would be very easy to put into game because all you'd have to do is take out the characters voices and maybe put in some grunts or something and remove conversation cut scenes.
I support this idea 100% and it isn't slavery because that corpse isn't a person anymore its just a shell a husk and husks can't be slaves.

Samara wasn't sworn to ME, she has sworn to help me protect the galaxy, afterwards she doesn't owe me personally anything. If I consider her to be a scum on a personal level why not fight her? I do get another ally that helps me to protect said galaxy anyway, and this time the ally actually is loyal to ME.

I think we hit our 'major character gets turned into a zombie' quota with DA2.

There is a huge difference between just plain killing, and mutilation and abuse.

You can end someone's life with little to no consequence but somehow torture isn't acceptable? Thedas isn't real life in the 21st century with laws prohibiting torture and abuse, it is based off the medieval era where such things were commonplace.
I disagree with violence and abuse IRL but we should be given the opportunity to roleplay as we wish instead of trying to be politically correct here.
