I'm currently in the Writing stage of development for Wardens of Nevarra. I have a very vague idea of where I want it to go, but I'm looking for some ideas and input.

*possible spoilers for WoN?*

So far, I've really only come up with the idea of a reverse Grey Warden. Powerful darkspawn (maybe of the intelligent kind coming in Awakening) have learned how to alter human blood to make themselves immune to sunlight blindness and other problems surface darkspawn deal with. They do this in a ritual similar to the Joining, and not all who do it survive. These intelligent darkspawn are not bothered by the lack of an archdemon, and are smart enough to gather into an army. (Side Note: Sounds like what I've heard of Awakening. I swear I didn't see that trailer until after I started WoN.)

The original idea of the campaign was too ambitious, and my plan is for a 3-5 hour campaign. The campaign will likely be low to mid level. Party members must be persuaded to join the mission in the same way as teammates in ME2 (unless they're Grey Wardens.) Depending on the choices during the fight against the darkspawn, entire villages may have to be sacrificed to stop the darkspawn, and companions can get killed during the endgame (like the ME2 suicide mission.)

The concept of the companions was that not all of them would get along, and only three could be in the party. Choosing the right team, gaining their trust, and getting them to trust each other is important to the party's survival. The only major (not scrapped) companion idea: A young Grey Warden, junior to the player. Still a bit naive, never actually fought darkspawn or involved in tough decisions.

Ideas, comments, input, and encouragement are all welcome.

(My whole plan sounds like it was ripped off Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age Awakening. I wonder if that's because I'm waiting for ME2 so "patiently"...)
