On Kalence, it seems power amps and other related things that increase power damage also increases the amount of shields restored upon Shield Boost. Is this correct?
Is Kalence correct or is it a mistake.....?

The best way to check is by seeing if the shields restored by Shield Boost are also impacted by Passive's power bonuses.
(The answer is yes, it is correct.)
EDIT: Thanks to you I started playing around with Volus in Kalence. Has anyone played with this exact Volus Adept? It seems like it could be a more fun version of the AA.

That Volus build is pretty lame Me0.. I went with a full damage Orbs build, power passives, power amp IV, pistol power magnifyer, commando package.. jacked up the damage as much as possible.. and they were still pretty terrible. I don't think adding 6+1 fire explosions is gonna do much to make it better.. let alone vs armor.
The build isn't very fun with a team, it's only good for soloing since your teammates will end up killing everything you prime. I personally go for cooldowns on the orbs if I use this build.

Yes, 5a of Volus training increases the amount of shields restored by shield boost, it's correct.
@me0120 : a build focused on fire explosions I guess. I also always equip incendiary rounds on the volus adept, because the little guy needs some extra damage against armor (biotic orbs "highly effective" against armor ? lol). But stasis is very useful, so why not sharing your points between this power and fitness (need it for a solo maybe ?) ?

Yeah it's a Fire Explosion build. The thought behind it is simply all mooks will take 1 shot from the Acolyte and 1 Orb each, including Phantoms. That will make Stasis pretty useless since I only find it useful against Phantoms. For bosses 45% debuff for everyone else to make use of, plus my shield stripping. I think the orbs have a good balance between power (1004 damage) and recharge speed (6.76s) but the build would be useless against bosses without the 45% debuff. If the Acolyte + Orbs + Fire explosion somehow aren't enough to kill mooks then the build would be pretty wasted.

There are some solos posted on youtube that utilizes this build and playstyle.

You can have all that too.. Debuff is a must. I had the most fun in biotic teams with him, Harpoon and Graal are also great fun on him. Too bad BO don't prime for warp ammo. :/Definitely not what I want. I'm going for more of a Fire Explosion Juggernaut build, but with 45% debuff and faster movement speed.

My first VA build only had 3 in Stasis so it wasn't all that different.
VA is the Volus I like the least, and by a wide margin.

I think I've played it twice. I'm an anti-stasis guy because it used to only come on Asari.

Yeah. Basically you are either spamming Orbs for tech combos and / or debuff or you are spamming Stasis, or going for mediocre BE's.
I guess you could play him as a "stasis sniper" with the Arc Pistol. Cue the music.

That's what I'm trying to avoid. I can Arc Pistol snipe on any class, no need to bring Stasis for it.

Great Scott!!! You've a Cylonic mod IV on!! So why would you even be bothering putting any points into Fitness, lol. At least you don't have to max it. The other thing is there really is no reason why you couldn't at least have 3 points into Stasis. So yes, I do not approve of this build at all. ... Actually all builds that excludes one power entirely I usually don't approve of at all.

Do you always use drill rounds with the Arc pistol? How does that work for you?
I always do unless I am running high level AP.
On gold you barely need any bonus over a Rail 3 to one-shot all humanoid targets.
edit: to clarify I should say that you don't need particularly great passive weapon bonus to one-shot all gold humanoid units when you count Phantoms and Dragoons (Dragoons benefit a little more from AP ammo's higher armor piercing).

I just put up 120k on Reaper/White/Gold using that build with the Arc pistol and Incendiary 4, but I used a power amp 4 instead of CM
