Well, I youtube'd it, I guess it's not really the same. I almost always take Garrus on that mission, except the last couple times I took James and Javik.

I have a feeling tali's not going to make it to ME3 in this current playthrough. We kinda hate eachother a little bit right now.

Filthy suit rat :P

She's still the next one I'ma pick up though, since Liara can't/woin join me and I'm in dire need of more friendly faces on the Normandy. Too bad I can't stick with my main ME1 squad that took down Saren :( (Liara/Tali)

Never played Me1 but plan to pick it up soon. Will grudgingly romance Kaidan. He's a good guy, cute, and a way better sport than Ash from what I gather, but that Horizon incident was pretty damn offensive, and I can't help but look forward to breaking the news to him in ME3. You know, about Garrus  ^_^

Let me know that works out.. playing ME1. Combat is so different :D

I like/love it, but I started the series in ME1. And I love playing Adept and those are just beasts in ME1. (singularity ftw)

I accidentally romanced Kaidan on my very first playthrough of ME1, and so, I regretted it....:crying:

When I look back on this playthrough I've given Tali plenty of good reasons to hate me so far, and that's probably not going to change from Haestrom onwards. This renegade shep of mine doesn't have much use for quarians it seems.

When I romanced Garrus, I specifically killed off Kaidan in ME1 to avoid his romance. And then when I romanced Tali, I did the same to Ashley. I was actually very nice to both of them in those playthroughs, But since they are dead I can never really break their hearts.

Yeahhhh lol I started with ME2 because so many people say the gameplay in ME1 is a little too outdated, etc etc but now I regret not experiencing how Shep meets everyone and I totally missed out on guys like Wrex...

Right after playing 2 and 3, I felt even less inclined to pickup ME1 cause I have a problem with the fact that I can't flirt with Garrus in that game. That is a problem. You mean I can't meet him as a C-Sec officer and be all like, "...I like men in uniform"

It works out cause I appreciate  Kaidan and my Shep deserves some lovin while fighting injustice, but I also get payback for Horizon by breaking his heart on a hospital bed.

During her fling with Alenko though,my Shep will totally be stealing looks at Garrus. You know, get used to that turian figure...tbh I like how his C-Sec getup is slimmer and shows off way more of his badonk  B)

ME1 is totally worth playing at least once, even if it is a little outdated.

I can't tolerate Ashley at all. She said she'd kill Wrex in a heartbeat at the party. Therefore, gibbed killed her! I've only had Kaidan with me in a lot of my playthroughs. He annoys me less....

Kaidan is a much more interesting character in ME3 than Ashley. You have more interesting conversations with him anyway, at least, in my opinion.

It does even out the Female presence of the entire Normandy squadmates if Kaidan is saved with FemShep, but with Ashley, there's a lot of women dominance... Plus, FemShep dialogues are quite awkward with Ashley...

I just liked the way Kaidan came to terms with the coup attempt, and saving those ex-cerberus scientists on Arrae. He was a much more believable character.

Ashley's voice acting is too care-free...sometimes she sounds like she doesn't even care...

Well i normally like Kimberley Brooks VA work. She's even done some I didn't know about but should have... but yeah I agree; in a lot of ways she comes across as an airhead in ME3; although in fairness they definitely could have given her better quality lines to say.

True, but her and FemShep don't really seem to have chemistry with one another at all, and both V.S.'s are pretty much death when your squadmates are telling them that they're hate for Cerberus is clouding their judgement... :S

Nope you're right, they don't. Femshep and Ash were much better in ME1.

What is the deal with breaking Kaidan's heart? The dude treats you like trash on Horizon. Treats you like trash on Mars. And then Shepard tells him to kiss off. He should have seen that coming from a mile away. He should have realized he had burned those bridges to a cinder.

Relationships are not that cut and dry. Sure he pissed me off in my playthrough but it doesn't diminish what shep had with him. She moves on but Kaidan will always be a part of her life no need to hurt him more than he already was.

Just because he fit with this character. Plus not going the way of Jacob

(Honestly, the only way for the Virmire Survivor to not be on your side during the coup is if you REALLY work at it. I believe that you'll always have charm/intimidate options, provided that you've got sufficient reputation - which you'll get if you're doing everything - and most of the time they'll stand down provided that you just try talking them down, regardless of Charm/Intimidate.)

There actually is a point system for this that includes many factors. This means that if you don't get enough points the persuasion option won't even come up and you'll be forced to kill them.
