I have said this in a number of similar threads already but I am going to say it again to emphasis this point to ea. We want at least 15 hamsters to power the servers this time round not just the 3 like for ME3. STOP being cheap ea.

There are some great suggestions in this thread already. In addition to those, I'd like to see more variety in the types of opponents we can battle, larger party sizes, different types of map hazards, and a variety of available heavy weapon types.

Apart from better netcode and better store system, I just have one wish.
I want more niche weapons and weapons that are not 'works with all classes' sort - weapons like talon, wraith, hurricane, harrier must go - as simple as that. Need more guns like scorpion, executioner, suppressor, CSR, saber, falcon, valkyrie, argus etc.

1. Current updates to experience and credits. Nothing worse than a "disconnected from EA" notification on wave 10 of a match and no credits or experience earned.
2. If you do the challenge system again give us better access to it. Let us access it in the lobbies.
3. If we are solo in a game allow us to pause. Diablo 3 accomplished this.
4. The load times are ridiculous.
5. Sometimes getting a group together and going takes too long. It's ridiculous to sit there and wait on teammates for 5 minutes for a 25 minute game. Maybe we should be able to go ahead and start and deploy while others are getting ready. If they are off using the bathroom or something they can deploy when they get there.
6. If you bring back the medigels and stuff take some liberty with it. Don't let us just gel and come back to life where we are. Too many times it happens on top of a phantom and we get killed instantly. That's not fun. GIve us like an ODST entrance into the battlefield when we gel. Randomly drop us in from a pod with a mandatory distance from enemies (safe distance).
7. If you bring challenges back make them a little more reasonable. I love to do the sniper challenge. There are not really enough sniper rifles to do the challenge effectively on Gold and Platinum. I always end up using one of the weaker rifles for a couple of matches to finish the challenge and start over with the better guns.
8. Cross platform play for multiplayer would be great. Especially if we could take our account by our ID and switch from Xbox to PC to PS3 at will if we want. Had I known that my Xbox360 was going to break again I would have probably started out on PC, but I didn't. I lost a lot of possible time playing this game because of that. I would have bought another copy and played on PC if I could have transferred my manifest.

You want EA to pay for actually competent net-code devs? Do you (or EA) have any idea how rare performance-driven devs are?

Better netcode...we all know why.
Fix the store...because the dry spells I've been on with the Ultra Rares bordered on rediculous and - ultra - trolly. And from what I've gathered on this forum, I am not the only one. It should not take players hundreds of hours to unlock everything. Not everyone has hours a day free to play the game, and those people will end up having never played with all the weapons before the servers shut down. That's just not cool. And even with a maxed manifest, the game still has a very strong draw to players, because of the huge learning and all the different builds and set-ups. The store has done more wrong, than right to this game.
More enemies factions, because of even more diversity.
Those are my main wishes, at the moment. Might change as time goes by, though.

- better servers + netcode, less lag
- longer support time
- no pvp
- bigger, more interactive maps with more enemies, more randomized wave compositions
- heavy weapons
- customizable body armor
- char with custom powers as reward for doing all challenges (has to be balanced in some way)
- instead of lvl 4 ammo better more different ammo types like Polonium, Shredder, Sledghammer, Snowblind.
- mixed/alternating enemies for all difficulties.
- Platinum not just being a stupid boss spam

Drell
Javelin
GI (or equivalent character)
Better netcode, obviously. There's no logical reason why I have a better connection to someone in the Middle East than I do to someone who is just a couple states over.
Ability to buy whatever consumables I want. Weapons and characters should be independently purchasable too, but at a considerable mark-up over trying to get them in packs similar to the ones we have now.
Ability to mute other players. I know Xbox players can join or create an XBL party to do this, but not having a designated mute button is silly.
I'd love to see weekend challenges return, and also frequent balance changes. With the staggering success of ME3MP, I'd imagine that BioWare will be budgeted for even more support in the next game. And hey, if they find a way to keep the DLCs free, then I won't complain.

- Servers/Netcode
- Additional cooperative game-modes besides horde (its fun, but it wouldn't hurt to work together to accomplish tasks besides an occasional objective wave which most of the team can ignore)
- More customization and deeper RPG mechanics - Skill Trees more complex, custom power-sets, weapon mod system overhaul (more than 2 per weapon, have slots for barrels/scopes/mags etc), more choice in Heavy Weapons, More variety in character and/or weapon appearance
- Greater variety in enemy types/enemy factions - Random wave composition, make it more difficult to nuke spawns
- Enemies that are less predictable, better simulated AI
- High-Res textures - at least 1024 x 1024, better yet 2048 or 4096
- Don't forget PC players! Custom FoV, graphics/particle settings, Text Chat
- Reward players for not playing the same kits all the time
- Don't fall into the trap of thinking more Hitpoints = higher difficulty (More Phantoms, less Atlases)
- Un-nerf Biotics... Right now they are outmatched by Weapons and Tech
- Bigger Maps
- Better Store

Maybe I'm repeating myself, as I've said the same many times, but I'd really like for the next ME MP just to have a future-proof network infraestructure. I still can't wrap my head about using other players as server hosts instead of PROPER server hosts.

To decrease the risk of the devs possibly ruining the multiplayer (they probably wont, but anyways), I hope they keep the core gameplay the same, but they need to build on it by adding powers, weapons, maps, equipment, gear, consumables, attachments, enemies, etc.
I love the game the way it is now but it gets repetative and boring sometimes.
Other possible additions that come to mind:
-Some sort of trade option ( trade some crappy gear, like drill or explosive ammo, for better gear )
-Easier to get decent gear, like gear spectre pack which guarantees high level ammo modifiers, and other high level gear.
-No omni button FFS, hate that thing, and disabling it is a pain.
-Better graphics obviously
-FOV slider for pc so I dont have to adjust it in the coalesced file

more customization
bigger maps
more than 4 players on a team
campaign co-op missions..rather being able to play single player style missions with other players
teams/guild hangouts....customizable

Here's a suggestion I haven't made before regarding games-in-progress:
If you join one, rather than immediately be dropped in, you land in a lobby mode until the end of the present wave, whereupon you spawn at the LZ.
During this time, you can
- view the lobby view (what the other players have, in term of class/level/loadout)
- have some indication of how much progress has been made in the ongoing wave (e.g. "Wave 5, 66% wave budget remaining"; "Wave 6, 3 devices remaining"; "wave 9, objective done, 15% wave budget remaining")
- change what character you'd enter with, and his equipment
- maybe be allowed to spectate (although you'd have to forfeit extra XP bonuses for U/U)
- leave (i.e. free the slot to go look for a different game, make yourself a drink, etc)
but you cannot join the game until the current wave ends.
The intent is basically to
- provide a last-minute opportunity to tailor your build so that e.g. you're not bringing in an overload kit among a biotics-heavy party, you're not the third sniper, you can gear up if you think you'll have to carry...
- to prevent bad experiences like a new player being dropped into an LZ swarming with enemies, and then another player feeling obligated to leave the rest, come in and clear the area to save him
- to prevent worse experiences like not even gaining control before seeing yourself in a sync-kill animation...
- hopefully, to reduce the lag burst that all other players experience when somebody joins

How bout this. Another game mode where the map will scroll to another location similar too rush in Battlefield. Every 3-4 waves it will scroll to a new section of the map. It'd just be nice to add a little variety in the maps.

Some kind of car/spaceship vehicle race like mass effect 2, Co op campaign /4 player including dlc also Krogan/bloodpack enemy on multiplayer Co op and weapons to match each coloney race,
exstraction wave 10 can be made possible by i pad/i phone/PC by the players So it can be anywear in the map,?Then finish remaining enemys in the ship by way of turret by the 4 players,

-If the store must be random, then I would still appreciate an arsenal/reserves variation for different pack levels ![]()
-Is there a way to view your manifest in-game? If not, that would be nice too
-Some sort of "epic" mode with more than 4 players at a time
-An "Offensive" mission type, kinda like how Assaults were done in UT. Sometimes I wonder how N7 operates, apparently just dropping teams off at locations and occasionally giving them objectives every once in a while. It just seems kinda weird.
-But above all else, better netcode. Those loading screens are getting annoying.

I just hope there'll be no more fr*aking "Lost disconnection from Mass Effect server" thingy in the next game, that's my single most hate for ME3MP, it's so da*n irritating when you've nearly completed one match and this cr*p suddenly pops out, if it is some sort of EA's DRM I suggest dropping that PoS, cuz it has faild miserably.

Store sure will in ME4MP, too.
But to avoid frustration unlocking weapons should be faster than upgrading. Everyone can get a Javelin I and try it ingame, bringing it to X still needs lots of hours of gameplay to earn credits or RL money .
