Hello,

 

Would it be possible to make the BioWare points available on Steam? That's just because I can't buy a thing from the Origin. My "Credit Card" is not enabled for Internet use and I would prefer a way that would not include passing insecure information into the Internet. I can get the games I want by buying a retail copy on a disc from a local dealer, so I don't need Origin for that, but the DLC is not available without BioWare points. That sucks, since half of the game content is provided as an DLC.  I was able to buy the BioWare points from EA Store before the Origin came, now it's all gone wrong. So, please, could you make the BioWare points available for everyone.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that.  Valve and EA are not ones to get along.

I have used a PaySafe Card. It's a prepaid card and I can get it from a local shop 300 meters away. It's easy to make purchases with it in a Steam without exposing your credit card numbers and details in the internet. The credit card information you type into the Origin in exactly what a criminal needs to empty your account. If that happens then who will take the responsibility ? Every sense I got tells me not to type that information in there.

Clarification, are you saying that you are unable to use your PaySafe Card when purchasing (or attempting to purchase) Bioware points from the website:

I'm not sure if you're referring to purchases within Origin or all or any EA purchase after Origin.

That is correct. There exists no such option as PaySafe Card. The only payment methods those are available are "Credit Card" and "PayPal".

The preferred option would be for bioware points to stop being used and you buy the DLC directly like everywhere else.

Completely Agree - BioWare Points have been a nuisance since day one and are in no way convenient for gamers. Plus the optics having DLC available that is less than the minimum point value you can buy is pretty awful.

 

BioWare points drive me nuts, and ever since ME2 I have not bought any DLC and if BioWare Points are required for all future DLC, I won't be purchasing any.

 

BioWare Points should be removed; they are inconvenient, annoying, unnecessary, a poor design, and pointless as you have to buy them through EA Origins anyways. Just put a dollar value to your DLC BioWare and get rid of a redundant system please.
