Since the Collector's Edition is exclusive to Gamestop and Gamestop won't ship outside the UK or Ireland: mainland Europe is just royally screwed?

You are correct I should not blame Bioware So:

Thanks EA for forgetting about the Netherlands and clossing one of the best working marketing divisions you have so you do not have to release this awesome edition in the Netherlands.

Yep I can only get the boxed version of the standard edition for the PC. Consoles? No problem, but the PC deluxe was pulled (!) from stores for pre-order here in the Netherlands. Why can't we order the boxed copy of the deluxe edition directly from Origin, that would be my question. As it stands I am being forced into buying a digital copy, though lack of option buying any of the nonstandard versions for PC boxed.

I'm not pre-ordering anything until more information is available or a solution is found, but I'm sure everyone can imagine how utterly disappointing the current situation is.

For a few years i was thinking about buying collector edition of Dragon Age III so i cant describe how frustrating this situation is. Thankfully CDProject dont treat they fans like Ea/Bioware and will release great CE available everywhere. Nonetheless it is sad kick in the ass for everyone Dragon Age fan from country outside Gamestop activity.

I would love an official statement from bioware to know if I'll be able to get it from France in any way.

Well, good luck for you. Asked so many people, from Bioware, EA and retailers from Brazil... No one knows anything. There is no pre-order avaiable here, just for PC's digital editions (standard and deluxe). Don't know if I can get the boxed Deluxe Edition for my PS4.

You *do* have a choice... you can do like I do, and let your wallet speak for you. I also live in the Netherlands, and I want the CE (for PC). If EA wants my money, then they will have to make that available to me. If they don't... then I'm simply not buying the game at all. It's that simple.

Now those people defending EA can decide for themselves what would make the most sense, business-wise...

I'm thinking that the fault is more at EA's side this time (again)... I'm not 100% sure but I'd say since they're the publishers, they decide where they sell the special editions.

Personally I think it's dumb to have it a gamestop exclusive. Either they don't want to pour money on making extra collector's editions and allow all game stores sell it or then gamestop wanted their own deal. Most of the times I order stuff from local game stores and only from gamestop when there's no another option... Which, right now, seems to be the direction. Have a monopoly.

I think I might even decide on doing so. I have an 5 year old High end laptop so I am not sure if my laptop can handle the game so I see no reason to buy it beside the awesome inquisitor edition for PC. Which sadly enough is not available in the Nethelands.

If I didn't care as much for the IP I might not buy it but that's just never going to happen. I will buy this game regardless of whether it becomes available boxed, does not stop me from being disappointed if it doesn't. Again, even if they don't ship it via distributors to all countries, I would think they could at least offer the deluxe boxed via Origin itself, but no dice there either atmo.
