Anyone worn out of ME trilogy? I tried starting my second playthrough but couldn't get past Eden prime since I know exactly whats going to happen an how everything accomplished is pointless and doesn't change a single thing. If there were anything specific I wanted to see I can just youtube it. I can find myself playing other games countless times but this one just doesn't motivate me enough. Maybe if ME3 wasn't released yet then yea replaying 1 & 2 would seem worth it but after knowing what'll happen in 3, doesn't seem that worth it. Im at the point of either retiring from video games completely or looking for a game that has good story, replay value, an gameplay mechanics. Thoughts? Because Im done with ME.

Tried the Witcher series yet, specifically Witcher 2? It was a great story + huge replay value due to story branching.

Not bored of it.
Probably will be next year though. Hope to have all my intended playthroughs done by then.
I've gotten more than my money's worth out of the time spent...

I'm not bored with the trilogy. I got my money's worth 10x over and then some
I will take a break from it, thats all. Once DAI is released, I will spend less time with ME and focus on DAI.

I'm not crazy.
I just find sanity a very dull affair.

You're asking the Mass Effect forums this. By definition, you're going to find more people still interested in Mass Effect here than anywhere else.
But yeah, all three are in my roster of games I play now and again!
...(Of course, so's KOTOR and Republic Commando)....

I still enjoy the trilogy, but I only do a full playthrough when a file gets corrupted or I want to reshape my Shepard's history.

I'm currently on a NG+, trying to get all ammo mods and "X" upgrades for my favored weapons, then reach Armax Arena Arsenal. Once I'm tired of it, I'll finish the game and be done with the ME trilogy after countless playthoughts, probably until ME4.
That unless I finally unlock the Geth Juggernaut and start making millions of credits with him in Gold MP...

Good luck with the Predator Pistol if it bugged for you....can only be fixed on PC and Xbox 360....

I've done so many trilogy playthroughs, and even more plays of ME3 than the rest, and I don't think I'll ever truly be bored of it, though I am on a bit of a break while I revisit Dragon Age. When the next Mass Effect is released, I might end up being hooked on that one too.

Not being able to upgrade it past VII?
I said my favored weapons only. The Predator is not one of them.

MP made me appreciate the Predator. It's actually a very good gun. Next time I go through the trilogy, I may actually make it a default pistol for Shepard.
That way, the cutscenes in the third game will look less stupid.

I appreciate the Predator pistol! It was my go to gun! Probably the best looking pistol too. I shame OP weapons with it!

Personally I prefer the N7 Eagle. More punch power, and as fast firing or even more than the Predator.
Anyways, I hardly use pistols. Although I have it upgraded to X anyways.

As much as I love the rapid fire Eagle, I'll always have a soft spot for the Predator, because with a quick trigger finger, you can get a pretty good rate of fire with superior accuracy and faster reload times. If the Eagle was as stable as the predator, it'd be a pretty overpowered weapon.

The Mattock was great in ME2, being the rifle with the most damage per bullet. But they nerfed and streamlined it in ME3. Besides, with alternatives like the Harrier, they finished caving it's tomb.
For me it's the Venom X, thanks. With both the Hurricane and the Eagle as support weapons (With Power Damage V mods, of course). Not only the Venom is insanely powerful, but also it flawlessly fills the gaps of my Novaguard (namely cowardly covered enemies, turrets and super-elites).
It's not only a matter of choosing a good weapon...it's also making the weapon of your choice to fill your weakness. That's why I think my Vanguard (or more like "Adeptguard") is simply perfect ![]()

I dunno, I like the Harrier, but I go through ammo even more quickly with it than the Mattock. The Mattock forces you to be selective.... of course, I'm talking SP only here. I've only ever done a three minute solo attempt in MP.
