I'm not sure if this will have any impact on DA:I at all, or whether either character will have a cameo.

But just assuming for a moment that we haven't heard the last of either one, what will be their status in your first imported save?

 

My personal canon (and first import) is Carver dead, and Bethany as a Grey Warden.

For me it's Bethany dead , and Carver as Warden. Idk what if anything BW will do w/these. But I do worry a bit abt our Warden ex-siblings and the apparent kerfuffle between the Inq and the Wardens.

I think Carver joined the Templars in my first playthrought and I guess he is alive because I don't remember that he died. On my second playthrough both Carver and Bethany died.

In my canon playthrough Bethany is dead and Carver is a Grey Warden.

Templar Carver with moderate relationship (slightly closer to Rivalry but more in the middle). Bethany's dead. This is my canon path.

My preferred path for his story is the Friendship Grey Warden one. I love that one. But I think the other one makes for a better story, to be honest.

My main or "canon" playthrough has Carver dead and Bethany as a circle mage who joined me at the end to stopped Meredith.

 

I do have playthroughs with Carver as a templar and both as Grey Wardens.

I would love it if bioware made them a boss character for inquisition, as a mage, templar or part of the wardens. Would be interesting and a way to make our choices in da2 to matter even if they get away or you have an option not the kill them after the fight.

My main/canon playthrough has Bethany dead, and Carver as a Warden on the friendship path (not quite maxed out but close enough). I have a 'secondary' Hawke with Carver dead and Bethany as a Circle Mage.

If they make an appearance I'll be sure to set a save up with Carver as a Templar because that would be a pretty interesting difference.

My Canon is Carver dead and Bethany as a Grey Warden. To be honest i was hoping for a long time that the one that survives would be a companion in DA:I. I would like to get to know them better since we only had them for like 1/3 of DA2.

As for my cannon play through Mage Female hawk with bethany dead and carver friendship grey warden. I always liked the idea that my mage was vary much a hypocrite and moderate.

Import 1: Circle Mage Bethany

Import 2: Grey Warden Bethany

Import 3: Grey Warden Carver

 

I'm actually really concerned about all their fates in the third game, especially Circle Mage Bethany.

 

Saving her from Meredith and Anders was the only thing that made my first Hawke's journey in Kirkwall worth it in the end. I would hate it if she's just killed in the Mage Rebellion or that helping the Mage Rebellion is the only way to keep her alive. But given that the Wardens are up to something weird that apparently puts them in conflict with the Inquisition I'm concerned for the fates of the Warden siblings too.

My canon is templar Carver, and there are also grey warden Carver and circlr mage Bethany. Hope I can meet them in DAI:)

My first import will probably be a CE Warden, so that means I'm likely to import my mage Hawke.

My "canon" has Carver dead and Bethany in the Wardens.

I have a save where Carver is a templar, a save where both siblings are dead, and a save where Bethany is in the Circle.
In both the saves where a sibling is still alive, Hawke sided with the mages (I was pretty touched that in the end, Carver put family first and protected aggressive mage Hawke whom he was always fighting with)

I'd like it if living siblings appeared in Inquisition. If the Inquisitor is continuing Cassandra's search for Hawke, then perhaps Carver/Bethany would be potential leads to Hawke's whereabouts.

My canon is Carver alive as a grey warden. I hope he at least gets a cameo. If we're really fighting the wardens, I think a lot of grey warden cameos are going to go very sourly.
