If that's the case, I'll just side with what you said.

"Before the Veil" amounts to more dragons and multi-classes for everyone. Not so bad, I guess. But lacking the tension and conflict we have now. Not necessarily a good thing.

Eh... people would just find a new reason to hate/kill each other. It's what we do.

Well it depends what Inquisitor I'm playing (lawful vs chaotic types for example) and also on the effects such an action would have.

Anyway, some poorly ordered thoughts on the subject:

- It does remind me of Korra, yeah, but I don't mind, it's not as if it's an original idea in that series

- I think this is the sort of thing Sandal's prophecy could have been on about

- Could this be what Morrigan meant when she said "or lead this world to it's bitter end?" Obviously the DA world can't actually end (except in a Shepard dies TIM talks to Joker can't import into ME3 ME2 style ending

goddamnit bsn ate the rest of my post and i can't be ****** re typing it

Yeah..Having magic everywhere works fine... it works in other fantasy settings. It's just the "demon" and "spirit" thing. Not every setting has this major drawback. And I don't see any sign that the demons would change if the Veil was gone. More than likely, they'd be the same aholes they always were. This is rather different than the "Synthesis" ending of ME as well. Since that changes the AI to understand organics better.

It also takes some of the charm out of the "everyman/everywoman" type. I really don't want to see Donnic or Varric start waving fireballs. They're fine as they are.
