Ok so i orderd ME2 online for an in store pick up. They havent called me and told me the game is in yet is this normal. Im worried i wont be able to pick it up on the release date. Any one else have this or is every ones copy in the store

I haven't heard anything yet. I'm guessing they'll call Monday or Tuesday.

Yeah I always get my call the day before the release.

Sometimes you wont get a call, you can always call the store and ask them to do a reserve look up. Just give them the phone number you entered on the site, if that doesnt work give them you first and last name.

They usually call the day before(in my experience)...but I try not to buy anything from Gamestop anymore.

Gamestop always sends me a text for some reason. But if your picking up in store you should be good. Im getting mine 12:01 monday

Gamestop just announced a midnight release on Shacknews, so call your local outlet and see if they are participating.

there are still 3+ days to release. They call or text the day before. People are getting too impatient. I saw a thread earlier asking why they hadn't gotten an email saying their game had been dispatched because they ordered release day shipping. Short answer, because they haven't shipped it....

Why would they call you to say the game is in when it hasn't even released yet?

You'll get the call the day before.... at least in theory.



It's an automated system that frankly kinda sucks. It sometimes leaves a message, sometimes not. The time the call is made is seemingly random as well. Just one of the many things I 'love' about my company.

You won't get a call until the day before the release date.  You don't have to pick it up on that date.  They'll hold it for you up until like 5 days or something?  Check the email you got when you preordered.  It should list it on there.

Both times I've pre-ordered from Gamestop, they call the day before to remind me. Don't worry about it, they'll call.

Just call the store manager and find out what the hell is going on.

I have a good relationship with the store manager at my local gamestop.She call me when she not at work and she keep me up to date on what's going on.

The store I go to had all their pre-orders to date and a bunch shelf copies delivered last Tuesday. This was past the point when they were accepting in-store pick up orders on the website so I would assume all those had been delivered at that time. They were still accepting pre-orders at the store as of last night. Not sure if these were reserved from the shelf stock they already had in the back or if they were expecting another shipment tomorrow.
