Which is why we got some changes in faces for ME3. Both games are using Frostbite 3 if I remember correctly.
No, ME3 uses the same engine as ME1 and ME2, though slightly modified. As wolf said, it's UE3.

Ah. Well. As pointed out DAI is def going over to Frostbite 3, so changes there really do sorta make sense.
I tried to install the ME2 gibbed saved editor onto my computer, along with Modio. I even scanned the files with my virus software before actually downloading them. Unfortunately, the gibbed saved editor software(at least the one recommended by this thread) didn't or couldn't recognize my save file from Modio. After a few minutes of trying determine why, my computer crashed. I restarted my computer, and I had to wait while it...for lack a better term..."verified" my C-drive. I then deleted both programs and I haven't had an issue since.
Apparently, I just have bad luck whenever it comes to modding. This isn't the first time I've had issues with modding software. Or, and more than likely the case, I'm just computer illiterate.
Everybody's gotta look 'better.'
Or else how would you be able to dream of banging them?
Fanservice! It makes Money$!
that's the thing, they DON'T look better. my ME2 Shep looked gorgeous. then I imported him into ME3 and he looked like hell.

That had more to do with facecodes not lining up right between games.
